I had insurance once, tiny little rear ender at like 5 mph and I pulled off to the side and I called progressive, paid $275 and told the guy just report the accident tomorrow and gave him my insurance info lol

My Gf and I spend $800 on food a month and we rarely throw anything out. All groceries from the supermarket. What are we doing wrong? We also live in NYC if it matters.
Unless you're buying caviar porter houses and lobsters everyday there's no reason to be paying more than 100 a week for food

Car 340
Insurance 205 (it's supposed to be 102.25 since my dad said we'd split it , but he never pays his half :smh:)
Phone 106
Cable/Internet 120

That's about it, one check goes to bills the other straight into the bank. I spend about 40 bucks a month on gas, and 20 bucks for a hair cut. I used to eat a lot of fast food but I stopped and started taking lunch from home. It's rare that I'll have to eat lunch from outside and even if I do, it's a 5 dollar subway sandwich or two mcdoubles  I'm one cheap son of a gun, but the checking account is looking good along with my credit score for only being 20 :pimp:

Lyon Park between Clarendon and Pershing. I'm 10 min walk from Clarendon Metro.

Basement apartment 400 sq ft.

I love it, I keep that place nice and frosty in summer. I can wash my own car. Landlord has a truck and van that I have access to if I need to moved large times. Nice storage shed in the back.

He got me when he said I could wash my own car. Theres a bar across the street (Texas Jacks), I don't drink but my landlord is always inviting me over for drinks with his people.

My girls pays 1400 in Falls Church and I have no where near the problems she has with her place.

Close to $3,000 in bills. You must be making bank also

i wouldn't say bank  but i feel blessed to have my job. But my bills are a little more then 1.5 pay checks. So i have very little flexibility for the time being money wise. Obviously working on changing that.

But if my car dies (186k miles currently so its on my radar) and i need to get a note out and its $200-$300 a month id be next to panicked on a monthly basis.
