If it looks anything like the yeezy line crap I won't be spending my money on it.

I thought I remember Kanye saying something like he has no control over the price points of his merch?

So it's the companies that sell his clothing at exorbitant prices because it's Ye?

Nah i think his fans are just really vocal on social media. Mostly kids. I see 1000 x more Vans than Yeezys and i never see people wearing his clothes.
 
^I think that just comes down to cost and availability.  Vans are way cheaper and more accessible than Yeezys. You can find Vans at any mall.

I remember he said the distributors charge him more because he's moving less so the overhead is more, thus the price is more. He has plans for more affordable lines, this deal should seal that actually by giving him all this infrastructure and resources.

Supreme isn't expensive though. Resell? yes. In store? No. The culture around it and the limited availability of their items is what causes the hype.

Yeezy can be sold at a cheaper price. If they're only released in Yeezy stores and only have seasonal drops, they'd still be just as hyped.
 
I guess it'll depend on the supply, if they are meant to make something more mass produced to compete with something like JB then they probably wouldn't all sell out within seconds.

Price for a much higher produced item might play a role too in it selling out. Like NMDs and UBs could sell out because they all retailed $110-$180 (maybe $200 max?) but if his own line sells at $350+ for sneakers and $700+ for boots then if they make too much stock then it'll probably sit, the last crepe boots that released is still sitting in some stores.
 
the stores will suck.

people buy Kanye stuff because of the shoes.

if the shoes sell out, there wont be anything keeping traffic and sales afloat in between shoe releases.
