Nike KD 9 ID Thread - Available July 7, 2016

Yea I don't get it Nike? Every ID shoe is $40-$45 over original price. Has anybody hit up Nike chat yet?
 
I was actually wondering why the price was so low when they became available. Even the flyknit Safaris were priced higher on ID. I knew that wouldn't last. New tech AND flyknit?

And what new tech are you speaking of? Air zoom has been around since 95, visible zoom since 99. Flyknit debuted in 2012. Definitely nothing new here. Just the way they incorporated and design the tech into one shoe.
 
The segmented, full length, tapered (bigger in the back than front) zoom has been around? I thought it was new. Never claimed flyknit is new.

My point is at one point an Air Safari that has air cushioning from the 80s was selling for more on Nike ID. I was confused, but didn't hesitate to buy the newer shoe for less.

I'm glad I ordered last week before Nike pulled this BS. :smh: Ordered last Friday and they're already done and shipped. Fastest turnaround I've ever had on an ID.
 
How do you think the grey lace loops will look with the trans sole or should I just go black on the loops? My son normally likes loud colors but this wiill be his school basketball shoe and the colors are black and gold.

OK thanks I will change to grey if there are problems with the translucent for traction.  Just trying add a little something to them but still stay within the black and gold colors.

Are the translucent soles that slippery. My son only wieghs 85 pounds so I dont know if that will help or hurt. Yes that grey is just bad lol

Just got my IDs w/ translucent soles and they felt great the 1st 2 hoop sessions
 
I ordered my IDs on Sept 14th and got an almost finished on Sept. 20th and never got any follow up emails after that. Then, I went with solid white outsoles because I will definitely be using these for hoopin and I didn't want to take a chance with the translucent outsoles since I've gotten mixed results in the past.
 
I want these for bball season so badddd but that +$30 is killing my wallet. Highschooler on a budget you know. Plzzz nike. Does the platinum zoom show up as grey or white? Im hoping for a silver/grey look but in pics it looks white
