NBA Summer League 2016 Discussion (Orlando, Utah, Vegas) NBATV NOW! (Schedule)

That's wild!

Doesn't look bad either.
Coaches have to see that and say, "this guys willing to do what it takes"...

Thon gonna be a problem. His transition from a pass/rebound to a dunk is very smooth for his age. Regardless if his age isn't accurate (not that I know or care)

Recap of my summer league experience:

Went to the Las Vegas summer league friday and saturday. Less people on friday, probably because of work etc.

They sell tickets at the box office

Adults: $33
Kids: $23
Front Row tickets $395

got there pretty early on friday, you pretty much sit where ever you want. The earlier you get there the better seats you will have. You might have to sit thru some bad games tho haha. We really wanted to watch the Future Lakers who had the late game @730pm. Pretty much there from 300-900. Saw a lot of NBA greats. Jerry West, Nick Van Exel, Peja Stojakovic, Damian Lillard were the most notable.

Kris Dunn was the most impressive to me. He's going to be a problem. He was on attack mode on every play. He reminds me of D. Wade/Westbrook.

Ben Simmons has some crazy court vision! His passing/rebound was pretty good. He made some amazing assists against the Lakers. But just like the scouts have noticed he seemed hesitant to shoot the jumper. If he gets confidence in that, he's going to be a superstar.

The young Lakers were playing pretty good defense. Blocks and getting steals. I hope this transfers to the regular season. I didn't get too hype since it was a summer league game. The only time I got hype was D'Angelo's game winner. Pretty fun time, if you're really into basketball. If you're a casual fan and don't really know any of the rookies coming up it might not be for you.
