OFFICIAL 2016 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Late Round QB's (I'm waiting, too much value this year) in a standard league
If ya'll had your pick, Carr, Tyrod, Romo, Cousins, Stafford, Ryan?

Also, standard league, #2 pick, presuming AB is #1, gotta go with ODB?

Alshon vs Keenan Allen? Standard

I would grab Rivers or Stafford then grab Mariota or Jameis as backup with one of your last picks...that's what I'm planning on doing most likely. Beckham would be the safest pick with #2 and I'd go Keenan Allen because of the injury concerns with Alshon. You never know when he could end up going down again...

Keenan Allen wasn't a picture of Health last year either. If both stay healthy I think Alshon Jeffery has a higher ceiling. Both are risky though

Agreed. PPR I'm going Allen. Nonppr I feel as though it's more of a toss up.

Definitely a toss-up but I just never trust Alshon. Huge ceiling but it seriously seems like he always has some random injury going on.

In my league I allowed 1 keeper, as that player is placed in the round you selected him last season.

My keeper was Gronk. I landed him in the 3rd round (12 team league, PPR). There were also 2 other TE's selected as keepers (Kelce & Olsen).

Thinking hard of drafting Jordan Reed in the 2nd round to not only use as my flex, but to cripple the league. I'd most likely go WR in the 1st (AJ Green, I'm sitting at the 8 spot), Reed and Gronk in rounds 2 and 3 then back to WR, and RB, RB in rounds 4-6.

Thoughts y'all?

To hard to judge keeper leagues without knowing who else is kept before your pick.

How the hell is this going to cripple your league. There are still plenty of good te options and you are just missing out on a better player must. Seems like you are screwing yourself more than anything.

You got lots of players to choose from in around 2. Don't take Reed imo. Depending on scoring format you go RB or WR but you don't take Reed with a 2nd round pick imo.

Never draft to Cripple a team. Draft to build your own strength and that will cripple them enough. As far as Jordan Reed goes I think I'm taking a pass on him this year. Last year was the exception to the rule on him staying healthy. Here is a guy that has always sat out games. Last year was an exception and he was tremendous. If he stays healthy this year will you be good, absolutely. give me a guy like Travis Kelce or Delanie Walker and I will be perfectly happy and be able to draft him later rather than earlier

anyone who drafted already or has an idea of it...

In PPR who's around for the 2nd round for picks 1-2-3?

I keep seeing alshon, Keenan, Evans, Forte, Marshall...but not really comfortable taking any of them.

is it worth forgoing those guys and slight reaching for guys like Landry, Cobb possibly Amari?

Los Williams got released today. Shady bout to cook again if he can stay healthy.

Why don't you feel comfortable taking Keenan Allen, Evans or B-Marsh? You could potentially get Cobb or Landry your next pick after taking them.

I'm high on Keenan Allen this year, especially in PPR.

Last year's injury doesn't concern me at all. A lacerated kidney is a freak thing.

He was on pace for something like 140 catches. :x

Nothing wrong with that line up at all. Looks like you drafted in a competitive league. You should be fine

Yea i was shocked. This is my 6th year playing in this league and this was by far the most competitive draft. Everyone came out and did their homework. Can't complain about that. Looking forward to the season!

Ok so I have the 7th pick in my keeper league 12 team ppr. I can keep 2 guys but I'm looking at 3 guys right now.

D. Freeman as my 5th round pick
Keenan Allen as my 2nd round pick
M. Evans as my 3rd round pick

Leaning towards Freeman and Allen right now.

Any advice?

Notable keepers:
Gurley
ODB
Nelson
Cobb
J. Reed
L. Murray
K. Benjamin

Freeman and Allen IMO. You'll have a 1st, 3rd, 4th to work with while others may have worse picks to work with. A 5th for Freeman, you got to take it.

I think Yeldon is going to be a nice pick where his ADP is at especially in PPR.
