Was watching the news and saw it unfold live.

This is crazy, two cops shot, who had nothing to do with the occurrences over the last couple days. I hope those two cops pull through.
 
This isn't new. There's often some violent retaliation after these incidents. Not sure which case this was after, it was possibly either Akai Gurley or Freddie Gray, but some dude in NY put up social media posts about him going out to "put wings on pigs" and the went and shot two officers point blank sitting in their squad car. He fled and then supposedly shot himself. It was news for like a day then disappeared.
 
Listen to the last Twitter link. If **** is as bad as it sounds, this is indeed new. Killing two stationary cops in the squad car isn't the same as taking to the streets retaliating like this.
 
Wasn't ready to see two cops laying face down on the ground when I was scrolling my TL.
