NYers do all different types of weird things with the language

For example, some of them don't pronounce an 'h' when at the beginning of a word like 'huge.' they say it as 'uge.'

Ive heard call "in" but its mostly refered to as callin "off" work, or callin off the day.

Never heard callin "out".

This aint baseball.

I CALL the office to tell them that I will be OUT of the office due to sickness.

So, I call OUT

I wait IN lines. I am not standing on top of people's heads, so I am not ON THE line.
