All honesty, when did the league turn on TB. Was it after the change with Roger? Because those early runs he was the golden boy, the great story of the sixth round pick, etc etc. Am I forgetting something specific that turned the tide with Rog or was it from day 1?
SpyGate?

That 07 Pats season was one of the GOAT with the ruthless attitude and running up the score, but it probably turned a lot of owners against them, If the 3 championships hadn't already.

i don't think it's Tom as much as it is anything NE. spygate angered a lot of people and team owners (hypocrites, but regardless). since then, any chance to nail NE has been grabbed. that's what it looks like

I guess is could just be Spygate, wasn't sure if there was anything else I was forgetting. Roger turned on both NE and Pgh :smh:

The league have ALWAYS been against them. Especially after Irsay and his fraudulent competition committee completely changed Defensive Back play simply bc the Pats used to beat up the soft Colts wideouts.
Funny thing is, Brady has benefitted more from that contact rule change than any QB in the league. HA @ roger Fidell

I think the turn on TB was how he and NE acted over the allegations. Laughing about it and demanding an apology. I'm sure they would all like to go back and handle that differently. Think it would have been a different outcome.

i'm sure Ben will put the weight back on in no time

as far as Gunna's point about Brady benefiting most from rule changes brought on by cry baby manning and irsay, that's spot on. it's because Bill and Tom have a brain. it's why they've gone after shift and quick slot guys who have KILLED the league. welker, edelman, dola...all exploit the hell out of that rule. and Tom will take the 7-10 yard quick hitter any day of the week if it's there.

Apparently Le'Veon Bell missed his drug tests cause he got a new phone & his number changed so they weren't able to contact him :nerd:

Not his fault....not his fault.....

TB12 throws the best short ball since Montana. Uses it as a running game :pimp:

Like everybody else said spygate. And Goodell did them a favor by destroying the tapes and took some heat for that. After Brady got hurt in 09 the league really started treating QB's like you can't breathe on 'em. He's done some solids for the Pats. Seems like he got tired of helping his friend Kraft. The way Kraft and Bill left Brady hanging with deflategate they knew he couldn't win that battle.

I want the Steelers to do well but this ****** in my fantasy league stacked the **** out of this guy in my league's team at the trade deadline last year just so he could have Bell as a keeper. So I'm rooting for him to get suspended for as long as possible and for somebody else to draft D-Will before him

It's funny how people try and claim TB being a system QB, yet have no issues with the fact that in Peyton's only two SB victories, he was a "system QB" and was carried. Dude gets a pass for referencing a teammate having an issue with alcohol and throwing his oline under the bus.

Who said TB was a system QB? Who cares about 18 throwing Mike under the bus when the dude was a hothead and clown (along with missing big kicks)? Random rant

Back in the day it was common practice to call Brady a system guy. (Carried by run game + defense)

08 with Moss/Welker changed that narrative quite a bit.

Those were like 06-07 type arguments tho. Brady/Peyton Wars. :pimp:

Was Kurt Warner was a system quarterback with the Rams?

I mean Trent Green and Marc Bulger put up great numbers in that system.

Forget all of that system QB talk.....

Watch Aaron Donald **** some **** up in 2016
