Any player who can't make it up on the fly is a system QB. Romo, Favre, Tarkenton are examples of QBs who will slay outside of the "system".

I don't remember seeing Tarkenton play

Was he a good scrambler was he better than Staubach?

I didn't see Fran either other then NFL films and reading up on him. Point was that the QBs I named can create. Vick is was another one.

Side note: I'm off the Natural Ice X2 and shots of Patron. This took a while to post with correct grammar.

Slim Ben might be easier to sack now, unless he's picked up speed with that weight loss.

Did anyone even confirm how current the pic is?

Falcons released Hester.

It's a shame his game/skill set was taken away from him literally b/c of rule changes :smh: .

All honesty, when did the league turn on TB. Was it after the change with Roger? Because those early runs he was the golden boy, the great story of the sixth round pick, etc etc. Am I forgetting something specific that turned the tide with Rog or was it from day 1?
The league or league office?

The league turned on the Patriots after Spygate. Before '07, I think the only intense heat they got was from rivals like the Colts and Jets.

Spygate incident, and most notably how they handled it (common theme surrounding most of Pats issues), is what really sent everyone over the edge. The whole "oh, y'all don't F with us? well, F you too" mentality didn't sit right with a lot of NFL people.

*sidenote* I'll neverrrrrrrr forget all the whining that went on about the whole "running up the score" discussion.

Some players, media, & fans were embarrassing themselves over that mess. These were all grown *** men. One of the most ridiculous sports topics I've ever encountered.

...

The league office turned heel on Bob Kraft when they saw an opportunity to use a controversy to their benefit. Ray Rice, AP, CTE/concussions, officiating blunders. None of those reflected well on the league office. But another "cheating" scandal from everyone's favorite boogeyman meant public sentiment swayed heavily towards the pitchfork crowd. So why not take the spotlight away from those issues and point it at the boogeyman? Eventually, Roger and the other owners figured they could actually use this incident to STRENGTHEN their power. They proceeded accordingly, and the rest is history.

Also...timing is everything. Part of the reason why Deflategate commanded so much attention was because it dropped at the start of the 2 week vacuum in between conference championship games and the Super Bowl. So of course it was gonna blow up. Terrible timing for the Patriots, but great for everyone else since here we have this sexy topic to fill that gap.

Timing indeed matters. The Al-Jazeera HGH controversy, for example, first popped up in between Christmas and New Years Eve.

Just another reason why that **** had no chance to snowball.

Jaboo learned game 1 that playing the Carolina Panthers isn't the same as playing Wake Forest.
