Even vs. the Steelers, Jones isn't getting enough touches to get in any sort of rhythm. The way Gruden/McVay call games w/ the pass/run differential, is like how a 15yo would navigate through a game of Madden.
Yep. Jones was playing well. No reason to move away from him like they did.

Cousins needed work in the pre-season and Gruden held him out. Looking costly right now.

2 games (vs the Browns and Bears) "proves" Wentz is legit.

I'm on the bandwagon.
it does prove he belongs in the NFL though.. and considering with the Bradford trade, the gamble looks ALOT more reasonable

then you can factor in the money freed up by moving: Bradford, demarco and maxwell

it sure as shhhh don't make him a superstar.. but Rodgers will get to tee off on the bears twice this year.. and big ben will get to tee off on the browns twice

he's a rookie who wasn't supposed to be starting UNTIL couple days before the start of the season and got hurt his 1st preseason game.. all things considered, dude aint doing too bad (and then you factor in our guys dropping passes)

and for those who think we gave up the world, we have 8 picks in the next draft

Didn't wanna do it but **** it.  I'm bored at work.
But it's a flat out joke he went #2 based off a Senior Bowl practice.

It's more of a joke that several picks were dealt to get him.

Maybe I'm wrong and he'll light up the NFL, but college football didn't even give a damn about him. Christ, Air McNair was talked about A TON when he was goin on. College football people were all over the kid, long before the draft. No one, NO ONE cared or talked about Wentz, ever. And he goes #2.

But a kid like Bridgewater drops and drops for no reason. Carr or Dalton, etc.

Maybe he'll prove me wrong, and if Philly still had DJax, Maclin and Shady, I'd like his chances a lot better, but this current core? They're setting him up to fail from jump.
But there are college football junkies on this board. Die hards. Not a one of em ever watched a minute of Carson Wentz. Now he's goin #2 in the NFL draft. At the cost of several draft picks.

I find that ridiculous.

98% of NFL followers got no issue with it. Just not me man, thas all.
How do I know? Ummmmmm because NOBODY was talking about him last year. Nobody. No one. His own mom wasn't ridin.

Goff did have some burn last year. He was on draft radars.

You don't need to be offended because I said some NT CFB junkies didn't even know about Wentz. It wasn't a diss.

Aaron Frodgers only completing 23% of his passes while under pressure, worst in the league so far.

interesting. must be the receivers' fault, though. or mccarthy.

I'm a huge McCarthy sympathizer. Seeing Packers fans everywhere calling for McCarthys head and its annoying me. When things go well Rodgers gets all the credit. When they don't it's McCarthy's fault. Always been that way.

Case Keenum is completing more passes under pressure than Aaron Rodgers. Are his receivers getting separation? Who are his receivers?

Do you think defenses play the Rams receivers the same way they play the Packers? That Gurley guy might just be drawing a wee bit of attention.

“Don’t get me wrong,” Lang told Packers News. “I’m not trying to blame someone else. We definitely have to be better up front, but it felt like there were a couple plays there where it starts getting to five, six, seven seconds, and it can be a little frustrating at times. We know we’ve got to block as long as Aaron is holding the ball, because that’s when he can make some of the big plays when he extends it. But, yeah, it’s a team game."

only reason dude was at north Dakota state instead of some D1 school is because he was 5'8 and 125 pounds as a freshman in high school.. so no QB camps or clinics or all the other stuff they do now for all the big QB prospects

then didn't start at QB til his senior year of high school

last two words. "team game". it's on that entire offense. QB, WR, OL...they all need to figure it out.

considering what Rodgers has done with certain guys, like james jones for example.. and always seems like they have injuries on the Oline.. and defense always seems to have stuff going on

I hear stuff said about McCarthy.. but when do people start questioning ted Thompson?

cause I still cant believe they weren't the first ones on the phone for marshawn when buffalo was looking to move him.. and all it took was a 4th

Which NTer added the part about Hernandez in the last sentence on Pollard's wiki page?

Beginning in 2008, while Pollard was with the Kansas City Chiefs, a series of events began to take place that would alter the course of four Patriots' seasons.

During the first week of the 2008 season, Pollard was knocked to the ground while trying to sack Tom Brady. On the ground, Pollard lunged at Brady’s legs, connecting his red Chiefs helmet to Brady’s left knee and tearing the quarterback’s anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments. Brady’s season was prematurely over.[19]

In 2009, while Pollard was with the Houston Texans, Brady threw a pass to Wes Welker to the short left side of the field, which he then took up the field. Pollard closed in on Welker fast, forcing the diminutive receiver to cut to his right, possibly faster than he anticipated. His left plant foot slipped and he tore his ACL and MCL, missing the playoffs that year.[19]

In the AFC Championship Game following the 2011 season, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski caught a pass of about 20 yards with Pollard in coverage. Pollard wrapped Gronkowski up to take him to the ground. As Gronkowski hit the turf, Pollard’s right thigh forcefully landed on Gronkowski’s left ankle. Gronkowski suffered a high ankle sprain. Gronkowski played in the Super Bowl two weeks later, but the injury helped limit him to just two catches for 26 yards.[19]

In the 2012 AFC Championship Game, Pollard made a helmet-to-helmet collision with Stevan Ridley that forced a fumble and the Ravens recovered it. Ridley eventually left the game due to a concussion and the eventual Super Bowl champ Ravens won the game 28-13. In that same game, Pollard was the last player to tackle Aaron Hernandez, who would be arrested in June 2013 for the murder of Odin Lloyd.

Rodgers has always held on to the ball forever. He's always taken sacks over forcing throws. It's how he won a super bowl and multiple MVP's. Lang is well aware of who is he blocking for and is saying as an entire offense things need to be cleaned up. In a week 2 loss against a great defense in a crazy environment what he said isn't that big of a deal....yet.

USA today:

Washington ******** QB Kirk Cousins is 5-for-17 for 34 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the red zone. Last season, he was 50-for-78 for 345 yards, 22 touchdowns and no interceptions in the red zone.

Maybe this is just a case of the "yips" and Cousins nailing his timing down...who knows?
