It's really amazing when you think about it. He doesn't have to play another down in the league, but he has absolutely inspired change from athletes from MANY different sports. 5-10-15 years from now, when you have athletes not acknowledging the anthem, OR leagues not playing it all, people will look back at where it all began. I got no problem mentioning Kap amongst the likes of someone like Ali, or others who spoke out and acted upon the social injustices in this country. He's doing his part and doing a damn good job sparking discussion and hopefully, change.

“I haven’t been in these circumstances before, being 0-2,” Ryan said, via the Buffalo News. “Obviously, I feel a great deal of responsibility  for where we’re at as a football team and not real comfortable right now, to be honest with you. Just want to win. And we need a win in the worst way, and we understand that.”

Ryan said it’s been a tough year in Buffalo.

“Us against the world . . . right now, we just know we have to get better in all phases,” Ryan said. “Without question, we’ve had a lot of setbacks through injury, suspension, whatever. There’s no doubt about it. But nobody’s feeling sorry for us. We certainly understand that. We’re not feeling sorry for ourselves. We know we have to get better and we have plenty of capable guys that are playing for us. There’s absolutely no excuses.”

Classic Rex to slip in mad excuses and disclaimers and end with "There's absolutely no excuses"

kind of hate this guy.

Absolutely. It was about a week after the 2nd preseason game when it hit me like a ton of bricks what exactly we were about to witness and the effect Kaep was about to kick off.

Like you said, some people might not even have realized it yet. Some might not really see and appreciate it until 10 years down the line.

I was referring to the injuries that had already taken place, didn't want more injuries to occur.
