I mean, considering the amount of injuries they have had.. kinda hard to judge him

starting QB, AP, both tackles and I think other Oline guys too

I never said he was bad, just that we need to stop anointing these coaches before they've achieved anything.

Same in reverse probably goes for some guys who never get any credit for some reason (looking at Gary Kubiak)

?  That team is super talented on defense.

I'm not gonna become captain of the Zimmer hater parade though, I think he's a really good coach just that he was held up a little too highly because of his personality before he's proven anything.

NFL media/fans judge coaches based 85% on optics.

I think "outcoached" is a pretty major stretch in that game.

I do remember their kicker choking a weird game away, but it was also the 3rd coldest game in NFL history.

Also barely losing that game is his greatest achievement as head coach.

it's only his 3rd year as a HC.. and there are some pretty terrible and/or very very new coaches in the league

I mean really how many coaches can we really really say are better than him right now.. hoodie, pete.. then after that you get in to guys with flaws that have longevity: reid, tomlin, payton and kubiak

If there were a coaches draft today he'd definitely go top 10 based on potential.
