How many teams have kickers who have been with the team for 5 seasons plus? I see a lot of rehashing going on.

actually, nevermind. it is really strange. is it cause teams can literally go all out for a block on an XP? without worrying about a fake? or worrying less?

Maybe the quality of kickers is just down.

i still think kicking balls that aren't overinflated over the limit is the real cause. kicking decline started last season. this season it's gotten even worse, obviously.

some people's stats show no drop off...other people have dropped off significantly

Look at the stat. 44/45 on field goals. But 48 misses FROM THE SAME SPOT on extra points?

That's what I'm questioning. How can they be nearly perfect on the FG's, but atrocious on the extra points?

Is it a prep time thing? Like when you are in FG range, they are kicking into the net, getting ready, but a TD can happen at any moment and they aren't "warmed up" for a kick quite yet? Maybe?

Really weird stat, whatever the reason tho.

Gotta remember there's been over 700 PAT's attempted this season. More attempts = more misses.

Could be a lack of focus thing, too. "It's only 1 point, lemme just get this over with".

Good point, I didn't think about the number of attempts.
