how many years does Romo have left on his deal? I don't see how you could name him starter mid season if Dak has the offense rolling.
I don't think you do, but let's not jump ahead of ourselves and assume Dak carries all of his preseason success into the regular season.
agreed, but unless he starts looking like osweiler they probably found their guy.

I knew it was suspicious with how long it took to announce what was wrong with Romo. Broke a new bone in his back. I would retire today if that was me, I would want to be somewhat healthy at 60 years old.

dak doesn't play like a rookie. I was at the game on thursday and i saw this dude throw strikes with frank clark running straight at him.

Thus far this Packers 3-0 record in the preseason is actually something to hang their hat on. I'm disregarding any sarcastic "preseason champs" banter because that's not what im getting at. It's not because I think it's foreshadowing that we will go undefeated in the regular season. As a GM, Coach, and fan it's the exact kind of 3-0 start you want to see with the way they're doing it. None of our stars are getting any substantial amount of reps. Rodgers played his only 2 series of the preseason last night and is already done for the preseason. Hundley only played a series or 2 before getting injured. Jordy obviously out. Cobb very limited. Matthews played only one or 2 series entire preseason. Still haven't seen Peppers. Ect.

Offensively our 3rd and 4th string QB's have gotten 96% of the reps. We let Kuhn go to keep only 1 FB this year in Ripkowski who looks to be a Kuhn prototype. Jared Cook looks great and I think we only keep 2 TE's instead of our usual 3. My theory is that it's so we keep an extra WR to have 6 or 7 on the roster after how depleted we got with injuries last season. Along with how close every WR is at the bottom of the depth chart. They all look so ready and so on par with eachother that it seems impossible to cut someone like Abbredaris. Especially when we might need them to be ready like last year.

Mainly it's showing how much depth and the amount of crazy youth there is on defense. This is easily the best defense we've had since we won the Superbowl. The defense is coming off a gigantic step forward last season. It starts with guys like Ha-Ha and Demarious Randall standing out big as rookies and continuing their star trajectory into only their 2nd and 3rd season. Quentin Rollins drafted right after Randall looks like a playmaking hit in the slot CB position. Loved Gunter, rated as the best CB in last seasons preseason but there simply wasn't enough room on the roster so he had to be placed on practice squad. Have only seen great things by Stanford ILB rookie Blake Martinez who we need to step up. Will help that Barrington is back and will be next to him after missing all of last season. And Fackrell looks like another TT draft hit I never saw coming as a pass rusher.

So my point is our stars have very little to do with this record. We've only given up 2 touchdowns this far. This is due to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year 1st string star prospects that we depend on continuing to develop, and they look to be doing just that. Along with our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th string guys finishing the job with extremely solid play. The 3-0 record is the result of all the guys the stars on this team depend on to make plays or fill in for injuries in order to win a Super Bowl.

How much guaranteed money romo got on his deal?

And how many games did dude actually since he signed his new deal?

lol might have to catch hot take on Monday for a good laugh. last one I seen was after Harrison called Goodell a crook, screaming a was going off saying dude should be suspended for his comments

Good for Kaep, not something you see that often nowadays so he gets the credit and respect there.

And while I never liked the guy, it's a bummer for Romo.

Cowboy fans should be jumping for joy. That boy Dak Prescott is the TRUTH. I don't care if he's playing against the 2nd string D / 3rd string D/ hot dog vendors from the stands, whoever. The type of throws that he makes it doesn't matter what defense is out there. He put up pretty decent numbers in the SEC. #ComingFromAJetsFan

how come you weren't saying this draft time?

lol

do the Bears only have 3 quarterbacks? Hoyer died earlier in the game now he's back out there lol

Not surprised.

It's widely known Troy Vincent was Stephen A's plug during Deflategate. They're boys from back-in-the-days in Philly.

If anyone remembers, Stephen A broke the "destruction of cellphone" story before Goodell's appeal verdict came down.

Screaming A is just doing his job and making sure his information pipeline runs smooth. He's not gonna side with any player unless he's at risk of losing a source.

I liked shaw at south carolina.

Dude played with such grit. never gave up on a play

Yup. He was a dog at SC. Wish him nothing but success.

As for my Cowboys, can't say I didn't see this coming.
It's Dak's time. I love Romo and he's a monster of a QB, but the injuries have caught up to his body.
I really don't want him to go out like this but when it's time, it's time.
