Starting to regret not doing the Sobesoles preorder at that $225 price point.  Aint no telling how much time I've had invested in trying to cop the Banned 1's.  Would've been worth it in hindsight.

Heh I'm sure all of us that struck out wish we had done this in hindsight.  We were all hoping that release would have been smooth but we now know better.

That's only if people make them into a bigger problem, considering manufactured hype made the Banneds more of a problem than it should've been. Nike won't utilize an extensive marketing campaign for these like they did with the Banneds.
 
The thing about these along with the other original 1s is that people have had them shoved in their face a lot to the point they want them. 
 
Usually true , but this 1 is on the hitlist for many.
Youre right,
Banneds got the advertising, and in doing so ,makes ppl that wouldnt typically go at 1s ,go at em.

i can see each OG 1 release getting harder to get depending on the resale market on the shoes. if people see there is money to be had they are deff gonna drive up hype and demand for the shoe possibly

It didnt happen in 13, it's not going to happen now. Breds and Royals are a resellers dream. These, Shadows, B/Ws made it through the weekend at the height of the shoe explosion. The market isn't what it was and they're not magically going to be some holy grail type shoe going forward.

its different now tho its not like 2013 like i said anything can happen it just depends on how the market reacts. and the royals in 2013 was a weird release anyways. people weren't ready with how limited those were

JB could have released a turd on the side of a V in 13 and it would have sold out. Look at everything that sits for weeks now. These won't sit like a V low, but the breds, as hyped as they were, was only a 300-350 shoe. There's a reason "the trinity" (i hate that term) is Royals, Breds, Shadows. That's the hype, that's the money. There wont be more pairs, but will be more obtainable because the hype isn't going to match the breds
 
At the end of the day, if you're a fan of the OG Colourways and you want to get your hands on them, you'd put the same amount of work in for all of them, regardless of availability, hype, etc.

I fell into the Banned hype the week of and I missed out, probably rightfully so. But I've been in for these since the day they were rumoured to release, so I'm damn well going all out for these.
 
I just know when i was 10 and loving my Royals, the shoes on that postcard are what i wanted more than anything. I sold the 13 pair i had cause when Chicagos dropped with a better look, just a matter of time till all the og came back.
