Meek has taken a big L from Drake which we all know what happened in that situation. Asap has taken a huge L from saying some ignorant comments. Who to ya'll has taken the biggest L and which one do ya'll think will have the hardest time to recover?
 
Meek. He'll forever be linked to Drake. "Back to Back" was Grammy nominated. :lol:

Rocky's comments will be forgotten and it's not like he stands by them. He went on The Breakfast Club and clarified what he MEANT to say.

Meek only takes an L according to Internet ******. The streets see it differently. He goes anywhere and ppl **** with him. Get off the net
 
I like how we still pretend the streets and the Internet are these "different worlds" in 2016. Like street ****** don't have phones with Twitter/Instagram accts.

Everyone wants to hear DC4 and Meek still has a chance to win people back with that.

A$AP Rocky's career was kinda quiet but the BLM comments have nothing to do with that. One hot song or tape and he'll be right back in the heat of things.

They both will be fine.

The internet makes things seem like a bigger deal than they are...which is a gift and a curse to artists...it makes moments negative and positive seem bigger than they actually are...but people also move on quicker. Nobody is even thinking about Rocky's comments anymore. Which is why going to the Breakfast Club to essentially say the same thing over and over for an hour without even clearing up his original comment was a waste of everyone's time and probably made his situation worse.

I think Rocky is kind of done. Nothing to do with his comments. I don't think he actually has the goods.

And I think that Meek can be more popular than he's ever been, if he drops the right tape. I feel like the door is wide open for him to come out with some street **** and have a big win.
 
Did y'all not hear war and 4-4 EP? Meek next album is gonna be straight fire. Drake def ain't end Meek career especially since Views is wack.

Travis Scott filled ASAP lane and makes better music anyway.

Asap seems like he don't care about rapping anymore anyway.

Think rocky last album went gold and he hasn't dropped in over year

Meek is fine as long as he's stop talking bout drake on every song .

Meek L was bigger but I think they'll both come back
 
rocky and fergs career pretty solidified for where they want it to be

they do the festival runs and cake up

rocky looks like he'll be dabbling more in film too

he needs to be slapped for the dumb stuff he's been saying lately tho

unfortunately people support ignorance so he'll be fine

meek took more of a financial L than anything

airing out how things work behind the scenes is never good for your money

his other L comes from lack of preparation and being emotional

meek took the biggest hit but he'll be good too as long as he just focuses on making good music
 
The entire music industry is holding an "L" nowadays. It's the age of no originality and forced marketing. Most of these artists are subpar.

Rocky and Meek are two artists I enjoy. They're both still making great songs, and have loyal fanbases. Their songs and albums, and artistry are still top notch. The media and journalism as a profession, have been exposed anyway. How can people objectify Meek or Rocky taking a loss, when they don't even listen to their music?

I could see if their music started suffering but, they're both still rhyming as good as ever, and choosing great beats. People are gossiping more about nonsense, because of every other rapper being lackluster. The music has gotten to the point of being so bad, folks are reaching for fabricated and fictional arguments.

Two different types of L's.

Meek lost a popularity contest.

Rocky been a sellout for a while now and his last album wasn't good. Ferg's album was even worse.

I don't have faith in either one of these rappers. Meek's a one trick pony. That yelling flow and limited content got old real fast. Was a fan of his first mixtape and was tired of him by the second mixtape. Gave him one more chance with that first album and that **** was trash too.
 
Rocky's gonna be fine dude still gets a lot of plays at parties and kick its out here in Cali. Still headlining festivals and he generally has taken a lot of time between his projects so I'm not worried about that.
Meek is damn near like Ja post-50 status as far as popularity goes.

I don't know anyone that ***** with him at all anymore. NT is the only place I see support I haven't even heard him in the club lately. Back to Back stays getting spins too.
I could care less about him and Drake both but that's how it is over here

Dreams and Nightmares is probably the longest song lasting this decade in terms of club play.

Meek will be fine as long as he comes with good music.

Even if DC4 is trash he still gonna do his shows and get his club appearance money.

People wouldn't even work with Ja post-50. Meek will be okay.

I have no problems with dude I genuinely do hope he's able to hang around and be alright.
