 Mark probably would drive there

 if he had hit that last Hail Mary I woulda looked like a dumb ***
Son I took the biggest sigh of relief when that ball landed around the 10. I thought the Raiders playing was bad for my blood pressure, I can't imagine how Chargers fans feel every week.

Deep down I don't want them to leave Oakland but no way in hell do I root for another team, especially after putting up with the last 15 years of pathetic *** football

I'd much rather have them move to la over Vegas and I'm emphatically against them leaving Oakland in the first place.

Who the hell is gunna buy PSLs in Vegas? Our Vegas stadium is gunna be filled by whatever road team were playing. Every ******* road fan will combine a Vegas trip to see their team play. Raiders home field advantage (even with a large fanbase) will be 0. This is just a money grab by Mark. Dude is trying to get paid and I feel him, but I don't get how you see O.Co rocking Like it was last weekend and feel like the team needs to be moved.

I support a move to a nicer city to attract more players. Plus The Raiders desperately need a more modern stadium.

But Vegas? I don't see a professional team being able to succeed in Vegas. Too many distractions.

Even Derek Carr would succumb to the Devil out there.

I don't think you're aware what a nice city to live in Oakland is for a young person with disposable income, let alone a young millionaire.

I guarantee you that if you polled pro athletes across all the professional sports who've lived here, Oakland would rank as a top 10 choice and that's a conservative guess.

I live off E.14th

Im just basing my opinion on my own experience. Oakland doesn't seem like a city that attracts top players.

But gentrification is trying to speed up the process. I dont agree with it but it's reality.

Winning attracts players. We had the GOAT Jerry Rice join the team. Rod Woodson. Bill Romanowski...say what you want about him, dude was a winner.

Got them well after their primes. They produced but not nearly what they were capable of in years prior to them joining the team.

But you are right. Winning attracts talent. Hence Durant going to GSW.

I'm pretty sure the majority of our athletes who play for Oakland teams don't live in Oakland. The Bay Area is able to house it's richest anywhere and allows for decent commute to Oakland.

There's a lot of nice parts in Oakland.

Hell, gentrification has white hipsters living and walking in neighborhoods I wouldn't have dared step foot in 10 years ago.

I'm more so talking about the areas surrounding the Coliseum. **** is ugly.

Most of them live in the Oakland and Berkeley Hills, Orinda/Moraga/Lafayette, Pleasanton/San Ramon/Danville and occasionally Bay Farm Island in Alameda. I don't think there's very many active Warriors/Raiders/A's who live in the South or North Bay regions. Most of them definitely live in the East Bay.

Either way, I don't think the city of Oakland's quality of life has ever hurt any of its professional ball clubs ability to attract talent.
