Any NT'ers been to JAPAN? Need halp...October or November?

What's good brah's. I saved up my pesos and I'm about to ask for a long overdue week off from work and I REALLY want to visit Japan. Been one of bucket list things to do since I was a kid. Can't believe i'm finally able to do it.

Problem is that i've been looking for a good time to go and decided on either October or November...

October has some festivals and also if I leave last week of October I can be in Japan for Halloween. (How is Halloween in Japan btw for those who have been?)

November has more changing of the leaves type vibes, which is one of the reasons I wanna go. (@watchingtvintheforest)

Anyone can help me out?

Even if it's recommendations for places to go when/if I get to go.

unrelated but I always wanted to go to Japan lol. Studied it for a year and I majored it in E. Asian history.

i always get reminded of the goodwill hunting scene where robin williams tells the kid that he can explain everything about the sistine chapel in terms of history, art, etc but he can explain to him what the air smells like there.
