Silly things that are deal breakers to you in a relationship?

A ***** that don't/can't cook. It's mandatory.

A female who insists in dressing up everywhere they go.smh like relax ***** it aint that serious .

I can't stand make-up either... Ever since I was a kid I hated make-up

Because im into sports and i want to be able to watch sports and go to sporting events together. Also there's something i find hot about guys who play a sport

I don't watch sports regularly. I keep up with highlights and whats going on but unless its a finals/championship or something you won't find me sitting in front of the TV watching a regular game. However, I play soccer (along with other sports), lift, and like going to sporting events. Just don't like watching TV.

Would this qualify as a deal breaker?

If the deal breakers are silly, than why yall trippin? Relationships ain't easy. Some of y'all gon stay forever alone

Maybe I'm wrong but I think y'all are reading too deep into this. I read this as they're really not real deal breakers with the right one, but they'll make you side eye.

You sound like me... I don't see how people sit there and watch a regular game on TV. I love playing basketball but I only watch 1 or two games a season and that's when I'm at the bar or something.

Yeah. I rather play the sport then watch it but that's the athlete in me.

I would think most women would actually like this instead staying glued to the couch on Sundays and watching 6 hours of football.

no because you have some interest in them and you play a sport. To me deal breaker is a guy who has no interest or knowledge of a sport/sports

I have some friends who don't play/watch sports nor do they lift. But they go out on activities such as hiking and yoga etc.

How does that sit with you?

That's pretty cool.

As a guy, I've started to get annoyed with other guys that don't watch or play sports. I know it sounds silly, but I don't know how I can be friends with people that can't talk to me about sports

I've taken some of these friends to ball games and they enjoyed it simply because they can say they've been to a game and had the chance to post it on IG or Snap. But it's a different experience when you're at a game with someone else who is just as enthused as you are with what's going on.

If you're obsessed with pop culture.. I can't be with you.

This is silly, but I this is a pet peeve when it comes to men.
I cant deal if you are gossiping about kanye and kim.
I bash myself when I catch myself talking about celebs like I know them smh

And if watch love and hip hop religiously we cant be lovas

You have to watch scripted shows that support writers Flash, NCIS etc

Adding to my list: expects me to pay any of their bills.

It's 2016.  College-educated women are benefiting from affirmative action more than anyone.  If you can't afford your lifestyle, that's 100% on you.

Don't get me started on that topic.  It hits close to home because my first Bachelor's degree was in history.  After realizing the errors in my ways, I went back to school for nursing.  Now I'm an RN that's flourishing with an Associate's and I'm going for continued education while paying pennies compared to the majority of people in college.  I have plenty of friends that have turned into "Bernie Bros" based off of the fact that they went to college for nonsense degrees (Music Performance, Literary Criticism, Art History, etc.) and now they're all singing the blues that they don't have the job they want or can't afford the lifestyle they expected to live.

The disconnect to reality is appalling.  I'm a fairly progressive person, but I find that I have to put my friends in their place more than I would like to.  They really don't seem to understand the relationship between societal demand and potential for gainful employment.

Clingyness or can't be alone. That stuff drives me insane. Do I really need to go with you to the corner store??? Any hint of a general lack of independence and I'm 90% of the way to being disinterested.
