No pictures yet but the first GR colorway is dropping Jan. 4th. Feb 16th the AS colorway drops in Blue/White/Green and retail will be $120.

Has potential. Looks like a bootie setup like the kd9, but I prefer the traditional the style like the K1.

Heel and forefoot zoom for 120$? Nike listens. I can even imagine the final design from that sketch. Just not the materials.
Hopefully not fuse again. But probably will be.

Can someone explain to me exactly what Zoom tech even is? I swear I've had a bunch of shoes w/ Zoom iver the years and never noticed an improvement in comfort or performance from other shoes.

Its a high density cushioning. Very responsive. Unless you are super light you have felt it in shoes like the Jordan 12, Jordan 14, and more consistently the last few flagship Jordans and the entire Lebron and KD line.

ANY cushion improvement will be a huge step in the right direction. The 2's are like playing bare foot.

Sorry, but where exactly is that sketch from?

$120 for forefoot and heel zoom, and carbon shank?  Seems...impossible.

Don't know about you guys, but I never for one second bought the "no zoom or substantial cushioning to maximize court feel" reasoning.  Real eye-roller that one.  Because they have never been able to make a shoe with good court feel and cushioning before.  Riiight.

I dont think those r legit. They even have the same sole as the lebron 13 on the front outrigger. If it is lol at nike

The Hyperrev 2016 have forefoot and heel zoom and cost 110$ at retail

I'm just talking about it being overdone.

The Kyrie is my favourite shoe to play in for a long time

And the Kyrie 2 has heel zoom only at $120.  Kind of my point, there is no consistency or sound reasoning behind the pricing.  If the 3 does end up having heel/forefoot zoom and carbon fiber at $120, why was the 2 priced at $120?

KD 9, full length zoom, $150.  Hyperdunk 2008 retro, the version with nothing but thin foam, $150.

Yeah, that's cool that you like them.  My issue is them trying to sell the notion of sacrificing forefoot cushioning for the sake of court feel.  They have proven they can make shoes that have both.

The Kyrie line is 2 for 2 so far as sig designs go. The 2 was a great design I feel that was heavily slept on and people will be scrambling to get further on down the line. So many fire colorways as well. Very excited to see the direction they go in with the 3.

In for the first page

Looks a lot like these from the sketch tho

During the finals you could see through kyries clear soles at some points and clearly see forefoot zoom bags in his pe's.
That makes me smh.
Leo or whoever will get up on stage and tell you that having no forefoot cushion in the 2s is for better court feel and quicker cuts, then kyrie totally blows that line of bs away by having it added.

Hopefully for the 3 they cut the shenanigans out.
Otherwise I may as well spend the loot with adidas' s top 3 shoes because they are not skimping.

Ah, good old Nike doing Nike things.  The crazy thing is they have proven they can make amazing budget shoes, and even good budget sigs.  Zoom BB was $90-100 if I remember right.  Those had full length zoom and performed great.

$120 for the Adidas Boost 16 is pretty good if they fit you right.  Enjoying playing in mine right now.

its always a business decision when it comes to tech in a shoe. Nike could put full length zoom in all their basketball sneakers, but they need to differentiate and justify their different pricing tiers so shoes are artificially handicapped. same reason the lebron elites has more zoom pods than the regular release. they could have put them in the regular release but they needed to justify the price increase.

zoom is nothing new or groundbreaking that is hard to implement, they are just protecting their brand and premium features, just like any other merchandising company in the world.
