Some younger lighter kids won't mind. I've always felt like the Kyrie had a kid vibe to it anyway. The colors plus the price. And the straps on the 2 are good for young kids

The price point and the player it's built for.
I don't ball like that anymore. I mainly wear them for casual and for the gym.
It's been proven his pairs have additional zoom air in the forefoot and carbon fiber, which is insulting to those who do ball.

This model badly needs an elite version. maybe not full length zoom, but a bigger heel zoom and forefoot lunar for an extra $30-$40. Would be an all time great.

Agreed.
And while I agree with @ajny88 that Kyrie's line targets kids more so than Nike's other signature models, you still see loads of adults balling in them.
I have (adult) teammates who swear by them and look at me confused when I ask if their joint pain may be down to lack of cushioning/support.
Alas, most people are uninformed and Nike specialises in taking advantage of them.

The first one I bought through footlocker and they exchanged it for a new pair (preheats) the second pair was an iD and I let them no and they gave me a full refund...I left a note in the box detailing what happened also

Lighter guards should be fine. I'm 240 lbs. I wouldn't ball in these.

He's a smaller dude and he doesn't recommend it. I don't think I can wear them for a long stint either. Hurts the ball of my foot a little just shooting and doing drills. Not gonna stop me from buying a few more pairs haha

The 3s are narrow for sure...but whether it's the physical dimensions or the materials, they are not as tight on the midfoot as the 1s.
