Anyone else think the reason we haven't seen the 14s yet is because they are invisible? Nike has moved on from auto lacing shoes to invisibility.
On a more serious note, maybe the delay is due to the 14s being the version 2.0 in the hyperadapt line? Doubtful but cool.

The new Kd9 IMO dont have a lacing system. The one piece construction is snug enough to hold your feet. You really dont feel the laces tightening until that very top loop.
On another note, i hope them withholding a glance of the 14 is worth it. As nerve wrecking as it may seem, Im kinda over the whole "gotta see a leaked photo" to determine if im gonna buy. Call it Hyped/Anticipation advertising but it dont phase me. Most of us, no matter how great the shoe looks, still wait until some type of disco hit anyways. So why post early pics if the majority still wait on discounts. JMO....

I agree about the kd9. I'm in between an 11 and an 11.5 so I went with 11.5 and I only really have to lace the top eyelet any tighter than they already are. I wouldn't mind the Lebron 14 having a similar lacing system but it fits a little wider and the lace loops are more stretchy so it conforms better.
