The Official Nike LeBron 14 Thread. Retail $175

Man why could Nike just drop the Christmas game colorway as the mystery drop. This color are just some more clearance brons.

Look at the 14's and all lebron sigs like this.

If they don't look clumsy on his feet , they are 98% suited for casual wear as well. They cut down the heel and toe TREMENDOUSLY ON THESE and they are safe.

To those on the fence , give it time. He's coming here to NYC next week. Just watch instagram for the casual on feet pics.

i guarantee the official/in hand pic will change minds.

its a safe cw. safest lebron gr i can remember.
People (myself included) complained about the crazy trash colorways for years, now we get a clean one and people are hating

Can't please everybody lol

I'm in

i think this is beyond casual appeal though, the issue is they scaled them back to the point of them having no identity

lets be real, are brons really a go to when it comes to "casual" wear? and casual is different depending on who you're talking to

what nike thought, dudes is gonna be like "hmmm instead of some runners/air max/roshe/boost/nmds, lemme cop those $175 lebrons to go chill in soho"

why did people love the 9s,10s, and 11s? fire colorways on a futuristic but clean design... that's what made lebrons dope to me

they went too far with the flood of colorways and cheap materials, people stopped copping as frequently, and now they taking it out on us with this casual approach like that was the reason we fell back

yep 8)

and thats on tv.

the black is gonna be crisp irl,

thats almost an "athleisure" sneaker

Ok
Kind of turning here
I hated them on first site and the first cw he wore is trash. These are still a no go but i can see the potential. Im still only gonna cop a pear if the hoop reviews are strong

$175 retail...so $225 for iD? hope ebates stays at 11% for awhile. can't wait for them to release. there's a lot of hate/dislike for the 14 cause it looks like this or looks like that...so what?!?! it's a remix of the kd9, bron xiii lo, soldier vi, etc, etc, etc...imo, it's still a dope design and better than the last 3 models. i just hope nike stops w/ gimmick cw's.

Amazing people keep saying this

I don't know how old you are so I'm not sure if you'll be able to relate to what I'm about to say here, but there is an entire generation (or 2) who grew up knowing that THESE were high-tops:

Or maybe even these:

And believe it or not, there was once such a thing as mids:

View media item 2280472
And of course, lows:

In the current sneaker climate, the closest things to actual hi-tops are:

So when some of us comment on these being "lows":

I would just take those comments with a grain of salt.

Put it this way, generally speaking, if the laces stop below the ankle = lows.
If they stop at or on the ankle = mids.
If they go above the ankle = highs.

So now you tell me what you think these Brons are.

Again, there is ZERO lace support above the ankle.
