Exactly why Nike may have actually nixed the plans. People got past the gimmicks of flashy expensive colorways and they wouldn't sell out in minutes. Also over-saturation of the market.Only would get bhm on sale.
Would have only gotten all stars on sale.
Also possibly the ASG move from Charlotte to NO influenced this decision. Maybe they were to far along with the other colorways and didn't have time to come up with something new.
Wouldn't be surprised if they are given ASG PE's for themselves though.

I know I saw the Jordan's, just wondering if Nike Basketball specifically decided to pass. Not saying it's the main reason but could have been a part.

There is an AS pack...there will be a lot of excitement around NOLA...BUT people are definitely NOT past the Nike gimmicks lol we just saw that people are very much still caught up in them by paying $200 for the out of nowwhere Lebron 14 while the less hyped BHM is $175

Most of his pe's have been trash except maybe the navy and gold pair. They need to just give us ID and a full acronym inspired pack.
2012 was definitely the height of Nike Basketball hype and it seems they might be trying to get back to that with legit quick strikes according to this

I think the shoes may have already been in production by the time they found out the switch. I guess they could go the route of the AZG ASG and completely scrap them despite being produced, but I doubt it.

Disappointing as a New Orleanian. Nike just needs to do a better job executing concepts rather than canceling these gimmicky releases. BHM this year for instance is completely uninspired, without the PR there's nothing that would lead you to believe they're celebrating black history.

Lebron with the subliminal diss towards Nike?I knew Bron had to be upset with Nike. He wins a Chip in Cleveland which is probably the highlight of his career and the still haven't released his shoe to ride the momentum.

Lebron signed a lifetime contract and Nike know they got him. Lebron can't even express his disgust because they got control of him.

So for our first two colorways we get a black/white pair followed up by a white/black pair...people who screamed for "basic" should be thrilled!
