72-10 authenticity check

Looks legit to me
Thanks for the feedback. I was a little worried due to bad past experiences on eBay and thought the patent leather looked odd where it meets the tumbled leather on top of toe box. Almost looks like patent leather is uneven. It just seems like there's a lot of space between the bottom lace and the patent leather. I wasn't sure if the shape of the toe box was right either.

If anyone else has feedback, I'd like to hear what people think.

The production tags don't match but I was told that wasn't a big deal the date that you can't read in the one pic is 6/10/15 or 6/01/15. I'm not around the shoes right now to take a photo of the tongue tag or to get another pic of production tag. The tongue tag looked fine from what I saw. I'll post it when I get home. Thanks for your help

Stiching is clean and neat a around the tag. The 72 on the left and 10 on the right stiching also straight and neat. [emoji]128077[/emoji]

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate all of your help. It's nerve racking buying shoes on eBay but I can't ever seem to get a pair when they restock on all of the big shoe sites

eBay is getting scary and fakes are getting really good. Some times pictures alone are hard to tell without having the actual shoe onhand to compare.

If you see the seller having full run sizes or too good to be true prices becareful..

He had several sizes and about 40 pairs of these shoes total between the 3 or 4 sizes he had. He said he gets all of his shoes from Nike but I don't know how he would do that. It is a bit suspicious but he has 2500 ratings all of which are positive so I don't know. The guy has a lot of different shoes. He offers returns within 30 days as well so if these turn out to be fake (and you're saying you don't think so so I probably won't have to worry about that) I can send them back and get my money back.

What's the eBay seller ID? You can message me if you don't want to post it here.

It is suspicious that he has so many shoes though. I have no idea how he would get so many of them. I hate the thought of spending that much on a pair of fakes.

Yea I know what you are saying. If you are not comfortable return it and pay a little more and get it from Goat for $280. Like I mentioned above good fakes are really good and without having it onhand pictures can only tell so much.

I downloaded the app. I hadn't ever heard of it. I have a few pairs of shoes and am not deep into it like a lot of people. I just really like the 11s and especially like the 72-10s. I've had a real pair in hand quite a while ago but they didn't have my size. There's just something off about these and I can't put my finger on it. I'm probably going to send them back because I'm just going to be neurotic about it if I keep them. I was doing research tonight and I guess I have been naive and thought eBay would do something to stop artificially creating a large amount of positive feedback with sellers but that may be the case with this one.

I'm sending them back and seller said he'd issue a refund. After looking at them closer in better light the two shoes were too different. One had yellowing already, smoother leather with bigger grains or pebbles in the tumbled leather and other was tougher with smaller but more prenounsed pebbles, the 3 on the 23 of the right shoe was off center slightly, the jump man on the insole was slightly different in terms of color, and bottoms of shoes had slightly different textures and feel to them. If I had to guess the left was legit and the right fake or both were fake. I don't know but I'm not happy so they're going back. Seller offered to exchange them but I said no thanks. I hope he follows through and pays. He said I don't have to pay the restocking fee or return shipping. I have no idea how he would get at least 50 pairs of these shoes without them being replicas or unauthorized. There were other subtle differences between shoes and perhaps they just were like that due to different production dates. Nevertheless, I'm not paying $250 for a pair that I'm not 100% comfortable with

Same situation with me..but my seller wont refund and insist its legit hahah..good for you mate

From my experience on eBay, I've learned not to say that I think the shoes are fake. I just talk about stuff that looks off and claim that they weren't as described in the listing. I have also told sellers that I have no plans of leaving negative feedback due to how accommodating and understanding they are. The one time I called someone out for fakes (it was a jersey and not shoes) the seller got very defensive and did not want to accept it. When I said I was getting eBay involved (the pictures I had were damning as it was a terrible knockoff jersey unlike the well done fake shoes) the seller agreed to refund. I'm beginning to hate eBay. It's so hard to find good sellers. I hope you can get your money back. Maybe you can get eBay involved and plead your case. It takes some time but can be worth it.

Yes, happened to me several cases :
1. Air jordan 11 backpack, the seller choose to closed the account and ran away.
2. Air jordan 4 toro, 2 sellers had a good manner and did the refund
3. Air jordan 11 72-10, sellers said i was scamming him/her lol..and said the shoes is not the same with the one shipped..

My issue here is I'm international buyer, so it will be at least a month shipping (burn the money back ebay guarantee), and also if I received a fake item I have to ship it back in very high cost..

Thats why I have to learn a lot about details before decide to buy , Im also helping others here in my country to do legit checking ..

The possibility that could happen sometime is seller doesnt know that they are selling fake stuff (since there are a very good fake out there)..

And the other is bad seller that claim its authentic and selling sh*t hahahaha..

It's true. I'd bet people not really invested in the shoes saw a good deal, had someone who knows something about shoes give them a quick look, and post them. Then there's the type that you said who knows they are selling fakes. This is the second pair of these I've sent back. The first pair said one shoe had been tried on and the other dead stock. The shoes looked good but we're missing pieces such as collar inserts and packing paper. There was also some sticky stuff on them. They looked great (better than the latest pair) but the missing stuff had me on edge so I sent them back. I kind of wish I would have kept that pair but it would have bagged at me. I might try the GOAT app that was mentioned
