Improvements in Jordans for the better

I've seen a lot of people complaining about the red leather portions on the banned ones being a tumbled leather and not smooth like the OG's. While I understand the want to have the shoes as close to OG as possible...I don't see Jordan Brand wanting to improve the shoes... If they want to give these shoes the shattered backboard leather quality, which by all accounts is better then the OG's, then why not let them? They also improved the insoles on the Jordan 1's to make them more comfortable... Idk I'm torn while, I get the want to have the shoes as close to OG, slight quality improvements don't bother me...

Anyone else have improvements JB have made for the better?

Looks like the tongues on the black V were made to last much longer, although the material is a very significant departure from the OGs.

Yea your right it looks like this new material won't chip and crack as easily as the OG's

Although I must admit I hate the blue tinted soles... They say it makes the soles last longer... Idk if there's any proof to that tho... Besides it messes up the shoes aesthetics in my eyes. Those blue soles stick out and why make that part blue but leave the side panels clear? They're just as prone to yellowing as the soles... Doesn't make a lick of sense. Especially after you just put a milky sole on the Maroon 6's
