How many minutes before a restaurant closes until you decide not to go in?

I do enjoy this as well.

If you're not picky about having the freshest doughnuts, Dunkin will give you extras if you come in a little before closing.

I worked there before. They throw out all the doughnuts after they close. So I'd be taking home boxes of doughnuts whenever I closed lol

Sit down 30 minutes at the very least. An hour is more than reasonable most of the time or if it's within that 1 hour time we'll sit at the bar especially in a place we know the bar stays going for an extra hour or two.

15 minutes though is kinda inconsiderate. Especially if it's not busy in there.

I went to this bar and grill spot around the way 25-30min before they closed and I got the worst service I've ever gotten at a restaurant smh. The waitress gave no *****, she told us we ****** up her plans for the night, said a manager wasn't available to speak with us.And the worst part of all.. I still left that ***** a tip
You're a better man than me.

Depens on the spot. Restaurant 45min- 1hr so the food isnt rushed and i can actually enjoy my food. Went to this restaurant once and the girl said they close in 20min and i could tell by the look in her eyes she was praying we left. It was a friday so i felt bad for her on top of not wanting to be rushed and given undercooked/sloppy food.

Fast food no dambs are given. Theres a pizza spot up here called Pizzaiolo, they have "gourmet" slices and pizzas. We ended up getting cool with the owner, this sri lankan guy. When ever we feel like pizza well go 10min before closing and get all the slices for $10 easily enough for 2 or 3 pizzas. He told us he was gonna throw em out anyways. Cant stand wasting food

Knowing that places throw away food just irks me. There are people who struggle to even get one meal a day and perfectly good food ends up in the trash.

I know. I was taught from a young age never throw food out, unless its rotten. My mom would always tell me theres people in this world that would kill for just half of whats on ur plate so either finish ur plate now or put it in the fridge and eat it later when ur hungry.

Used to work at a bank that closed at 6. Would get people who come in at 5:58 wanting to open accounts and a mortgage. SSN's were stolen.

How about the customers coming in to print 18 months of statements and file fraud claims :x (I used to work at a bank too)

It was usually repeat offenders that will purposely come in 2-3 minutes before closing

fast food... about 10-15 mins.. so I can get extra goodies instead of throwing away

restaurant... about 45-hr

Last month my wife was in the mood for Cheesecake Factory and it was 10:45. She asked what time they closed I told her 11. She said let's go then! I told her that's not cool and she just did the Kanye shrug. We got there at 10:55. :smh: Yes, they served us.

Also, me and a homie were trying to decide what to eat. He was in the mood for Red Robin so he asked what time they closed. I told him 10 but it was 9:15 and he's like nah, man. I looked at him like

What about you?

My old lady likes yours OP. No dambs given.

Both of you need to show your girls the movie "Waiting". If they still insist on showing up that close to closing, they get what they deserve from the cooks.

fast food= I don't care

Worked at In&out and people could walk in literally a minute before closing and still get a fresh meal cooked to order and done right, and if it wasn't they could call, complain and get a free meal. They could also eat it in the dinning room and stay and chill, no dambs given while we have to wait for them to leave.

If you forget to turn off the lights of the store even after closing and a car comes through the drive thru you have to take their order too.

The most painful part is everything runs on timers, (fries and grills) that you have to manually watch and flip/cook, so you literally are watching time lost, slip away.

my wife and I monthly visit the store closest to us and will sometimes do this depending on our mood, on top of making orders super complicated as well( we met there)
So we know exactly how it goes down, there's 2 main rules there
1)the customer is always right
2) if by some chance the customer makes a mistake, refer to rule #1

So if it's fast food, of any type, I dont even care, besides most fast food places drive thrus are open 24/7 and I'm not trying to eat there at 1am(not anymore at
least)

a restaurant they'll get an hour

Breh idc it's there job lmao I feel for them don't get me wrong but ****, they decided to agree to situations like that when they got hired man. If I'm in the mood for cheesecake, I'mma eat it regardless of time

resraurant... about 45-hr

Come to think of it, Ive never gotten anything extra from a fast food place when I went before closing. The only places I can think of that often will are Chinese spots.
