How many minutes before a restaurant closes until you decide not to go in?

I used to work retail and the worse when people walked in 5 mins before closing.

Odds are they aren't gonna buy ****, mess **** up and linger around.

when i used to work in a restaurant and people came in less than 30 minutes to close, i always took the table/s no question. A majority of people understand that its almost closing time and pretty much no server wants to stay the extra time, so theyre always nice, leave a good tip, and are in and out.

on the other hand though, if they were rude or had no courtesy for the time they came in, i always just said the kitchen was already cleaning up and that certain things werent available or put away so the menu was limited. got them in and out asap. no dambs given

Used to work at a bank that closed at 6. Would get people who come in at 5:58 wanting to open accounts and a mortgage. SSN's were stolen.

Bank hours are inconvenient tho... gotta get off work to rush to yall before yall close.

the food service industry complains about everything and have all these unwritten rules. Tips, time yall close even though the yall hours say they're open...kind of annoying.

with that said, if i didnt make the dinner time frame, i know ima get old/sitting there food...no thanks. ill go somewhere else.

Yall pay cash or wit card at restraunts?

Idk man, somethin about a waiter walkin out of my sight wit basically most of my money in his hand doesnt sit well wit me.

They can swipe in a blink of the eye.

I stick to cash, even at bars, dont care if i gotta keep breakin 20's.

I can dip when i want if **** pops off and i dont gotta worry bout not closin a tab.

The real question is...

I have always wondered about this. I usually don't but a lot of times i have felt awkward leaving that spot on the reciept blank

Better question is when does the kitchen close..

I'll usually call and ask

When u work in that industry it's apart of the game. If u close at 10 it's fair game at 9:59. I used to work at panera and they gave a 5 .instead grace period smh. Like we close at 10 but u can come in until 10:05.

I remember this dude and girl ended up on a blind date there. They came in around 7 and stayed til after closing. Like we mopping and everything and they keep saying their about to leave. She wasn't letting son come thru afterwards so he was milking that time. I wasn't even mad, I was rooting for homie Cuz Ole girl was a regular and I wanted somebody to smash. Crazy part is my boy Jason that worked with us ended up hitting her a month later with minimal effort.
Hahahahahahah

Cash as often as possible.

sometimes the bill go higher than expected to where you gotta CC it (didn't bring enough money) but all this talk of waiters not making enough money/ to include fast food drive thru (recent viral vid will show you ) that giving my card as seldom as possible is the way to go.

I don't got enough money to allow folks to skim me.

I like going to restaurants late, they give you bigger portions...sometimes.

Bruh... I thought I was gonna get hooked up this weekend.

Panda Express closes at 10pm... purposely waiting in parking lot in hopes I get hooked up.

Walked in around 9:55pm... as I suspected, a whole pan still left of each entrée.

Told him what I wanted, and dude gave me extra regular *** scoops. While his partner rang me up, I see him dumping everything in the garbage.

Troll move x10000 bruh
