earlier days uber just started their operations in china, many drivers drive uber just for sake to meet and chat with foreigners (local people didn't use/know uber at that time)

I do it two nights a week for extra dough. My only rule is no smoking in my car. You meet some interesting people along the way. My very first night some lady showed me her ****, not as a form of payment. She just wanted to. Last week this brunette offered to leave her boyfriend and go home with me. A couple nights ago I picked up 3 Latinas and one of them was trying to sell me life insurance

Used to work for lyft recruiting uber drivers undercover in SF. U can make bank with uber select. Hella hrs though.

I drive for both Lyft and uber. I can't remember which. Platform takes how much but one takes 25% and the other 20%
Tbh honest I make the same amount of money on a per hour basis as I do my day job. It's like working OT but I can stop whenever I want. If you want to make the most money in a short amount of time you're gonna have to drive between midnight and 4am.

I entertained the idea once. Came to my senses after I realized I'm way too anal about my car. I'd lose my **** if someone puked in my joint or somehow messed it up.
If I had a beater car I'd probably do it though. So does anyone know how being a driver affects your car insurance? I know they ask if your car will be used for ride sharing services now, so I'm assuming it'll jack your rate up?

When I was at O'hare airport last weekend that had this really annoying bulletin playing every 5mins about it being illegal to use 3rd party transportation. Called the damn uber anyway, **@$ cabs and their jacked up rates.

so it sucks because theres a lot of options? i'd imagine you can still get work pretty easily in nyc.
its probably not a good idea using a leased car since they typically have mileage limits, right?

I have a 2 seater. Wish they did something called urber express where it says the driver will get you there 3 to 5 minutes quicker than your average ride.
