Not sure if it applies today, but over the weekend vacaville nike had 20% off all apparel including their olympic gear. Considering all the olympic gear were still priced at retail, decent deal. Saw no Team USA jackets for men, only for women and kids.
 
Team USA apparel will eventually go on deep discount at the Outlets. Be patient and the deals will come.
 
Second, I would pay attention to markdowns to come. A lot of the Olympic product was priced at retail or price points too high for most customers
Ex tech fleece USA wind runner, $100 jerseys, authentic basketball shorts at $80 or aero loft basketball shorts at $100, tech fleece pants $100
Lots of this stuff sits until sales or markdowns and small quantitities go straight to clearance
Personally I look forward to additional off clearance apparel because there's more of a chance to come up on apparel than trying to find that one hash shoe or that one return.
 
This past weekend, Olympic gear had an additional 20% off on top of the 20% off apparel. For example, if an Olympic t-shirt had a retail price of $30, you would take 20% off for Olympic sale ($6 off) $24. Then another 20% off apparel from the $24 ($4.80) for a total of $19.20. That's what I was told by the three different outlets I visited.

Let's get this supposedly 40% off Olympic apparel comfirmed for next weekend and pay close attention to gear this weekend. Seems to be a hot topic this week.

I'm hoping I can reach out to someone here and get some advice about an issue I encountered this past weekend. I went to thee Southern Cali NFS, El Tejon, Long Beach and East Los. I spent over $200 at each location. However, only Long Beach gave me the MVP promo card. I didn't realize until I was back in the Bay Area that East LA and El Tejon didn't issue me MVP Promo cards. Is there a way for me to retroactively obtain one if I visit a local NFS by showing the receipt? Thanks for the help in advance.
PS. For the Bay Area folks who haven't been to the East LA store and wondering what it's like...it's not as ghetto as people describe it be. It's kinda like Mission St in the city. The parking lot did have a security guard so I'm not sure what that's about...prolly car break-ins?

I think if you take it to your local nfs they would issue you the mvp card. On the receipt, if you spent over 200 then they would issue you a mvp pass and it would show that on the receipt. I would imagine that if you show them the receipt that you spent 200 and they didn't issue the mvp it would reflect that on the receipt. I would think that hey would honor it. Hope that helps.

crazy, I made the same run but hit tulare and the citadel and orange. They all had similar stock, and I was actually issued a card at one of them that wasnt activated and dude told me to just show the them reciept and they would honor at any location. I know its kind of reverse from your situation as to where I have a card but it isnt activated, but it might help. If not see if you can return it all and buy it back, I did that to get a couple more passes myself.
 
And yes, east los is dope. Out of the six I hit it had the best selection of all, and is now my sure stop on the road trip.
 
your stores actually put that on the receipt, and activate the cards?

stores in my area just give you a card. I don't see anything on the receipt, and they don't activate (maybe they're all pre-activated?). When I use the card, they don't scan it. I also messed up last week by forgetting to ask them for a card when I made a $150 purchase. No way for me to prove that I didn't get a card.

They made SOOO many of the 12s........its crazy

If you believe they made a mistake for not giving you mvp pass, you should call the store to talk about it.

You may also write this on the survey and give them low score. Whenever I gave the store low scores, the manager would e-mail me and tried to resolve the problem.
