Baylor athletic department official charged in post-game attack
Baylor Associate Athletic Director Heath Nielsen, 47, is free on bond following his arrest earlier this month on a misdemeanor assault warrant stemming from an attack on Nov. 5 in which a sportswriter was grabbed by the throat and pushed away from a player after the Bears’ 62-22 loss to TCU.

The best part is the incident happened on November 5, and Baylor buried the story until today.

They didn't make any comments on it until that news company found out about and reported on it.

They deserve the Pedo State treatment. The only thing Waco had going for it is that HGTV show Fixer Upper.

Baylor is garbage as an institution IMO... Anybody hearing that ND is about to vacate wins from 12-13

idk if i can take another L to Ohio State this season man. Literally one game away from Big 10 title and the playoffs...against a team we suck against recently

I'm hearing Les Miles very well could be guy for #Purdue job. Announcement could be coming very soon.

Hopefully he's not stupid enough to try to build a Midwestern version of LSU at arguably the worst job in the conference.  I fear that he is though

This is just like the Fred Akers hire all over again except without the NC. They learned nothing from the Tiller era.

Hearing Chad Morris has now agreed in principle to become Baylor's next head coach. Announcement expected this weekend. @NBCDFW
****s is probably salty as **** right now

Just told by source the report abt #SMU's Chad Morris having accepted #Baylor job is NOT TRUE and that BU has not offered the job to anyone

Tua's team ended up winning that game. Shame Jack Sears means the ship has sailed for him at SC.

Do you think Tua told the Trojans he wasnt coming? Can't imagine USC giving Sears a scholarship without knowing what Tua wanted to do.

Not that big of a fan of Sears. Seems like he could have made a better decision for himself.
No Tua was still very much in play. He was supposed to visit unofficially this weekend.

It's just the fact that he's already committed to Bama and isn't on course to graduate early anymore, he's probably going to graduate in the summer. With Max Browne transferring SC has to take a QB this year and Jack Sears turned into a sure thing and he's enrolling early.

Can't sit around waiting to see what Tua does and possibly winding up with no one, when you have a top QB ready to sign right now. Recruiting him hard would probably turn Sears off too. Tua already played the coaches and went with Bama once. Why put all your eggs into that basket again?

As for who's better, Tua has a stronger arm and is the better player right now. He's also got a little more weight on him. Sears is taller and the better runner (he runs a legit 4.6 40-time) and people seem to think he'll improve as a passer too. I don't think you can really go wrong with either, although I prefer Tua right now.

Matt Corral is probably better than both of them though...

I don't know if Chad Morris is a great hire or not, or just a "meh, at least he runs an uptempo offense" hire.

Minus whale give the job to Babers.

The irony of Paul Finebaum lecturing ND when his squad is Bama, do they even give out degrees there?

Too close to Briles even if he wasn't on the staff during the duration of the scandal.

Nah just championships.

He's actually a UTk alum as crazy as that sounds.  He just rides Saban from time to time.

yeah, the seat is just being kept warm for Corral.

Something tells me Darnold could be a guy that stays for his senior year. I dont see him as a top pick at QB, yet.

That throwing motion is probably going to bother some scouts, no reason to tweak with it now tho.

And late last night, a post on the LSU message board TigerDroppings.com reported that a deal may have been concluded with Fisher…

From the same source I had last year and two more sources inside the LSU athletic department (my same source from last year is very close to the FSU athletic department and a major figure head at a current SEC school and a personal friend).

I’ve been informed by all three sources (personal friend being the most connected) that Jimbo Fisher, barring any sudden wedge being driven like last year, has accepted LSU’s offer to become head coach for approximately 6.75 million with incentives to bump it to 7.5 million, the housing stipend was never an issue and it wasn’t about Louisiana state income taxes as LA property tax vs FL property tax is virtually a push and not an issue as far as net income is concerned.

I was also informed that Aranda would be retained but that in the event he suddenly bolts that Jimbo will be making a hard push for Jeremy Pruitt and that we would pay similar to Cam Cameron’s salary as a coordinator. O’s status is currently unknown as LSU is keeping that headline alive until the season’s end in what was basically described to me as a sideshow to keep the media (mostly ESPN) from running with misinformation and letting the O conversation dominate their headlines.

I'm sure those championships help the 90 players who don't go pro find jobs out of state..

Anyways, always thought he was a bama guy, slurps them like one

Yeah it will. But he makes some throws that amaze me. I dont think they could tweak with it much.

Not comparing the two AT ALL, but his ball kind of floats around like Peyton's does, but gets to its desired target rather nicely.

USC might mess around and sneak into the playoffs..I wouldnt een be mad.

so much would have to happen. They dont deserve it. We had our chances and blew it. Another year in many where USC is playing as well as most other teams.

I'd rather play OSU or Michigan in a ROse Bowl than be the #4 and get waxed by Bama again. I dont need to see that again
