Jeff Bandy said former Miami coach Al Golden came to see his son play last year, and Golden told him that he “needed to grow another inch” to receive an offer from Miami.

Did I really just read that? Unbelievable.

A number of schools have set height/weight/length minimums that they look for in players and they won't diverge from that unless the player is special @ that position, so I am not surprised by that.

Don't worry when Franklin does get in. They will feel him. You can believe that

I wish Franklin the best but he is 175 pounds and from everything that I have read (which admittedly is not a lot) he can't hit the broad side of a barn. I would love to see him flourish though, kid is deadset on proving that he is/can be a QB

USC trolling gonna backfire

Meh, not really. Besides the players/coaches, no one really expects them to win.

Show well, keep it within 10 to the end and scare the **** out of the rest of the league is really the goal.

In re: Malzahn

- Does 7 wins and pulling Stidham buy him another year?

Gus offense w/o a mobile trigger man :x

The O wasn't terrible in 09 with Chris Todd. And in HS Mitch Mustain was his QB and the O was pass first. His O doesn't need a mobile trigger man, it just needs one who isn't trash.

Bringing in Briles seems like a such an Auburn thing to do [emoji]128514[/emoji]

So 1 not trash season and in HS w/ Mustain and an NFL receiver? lol

His current incarnation of his offense seems to be much more predicated on a run threat than his offenses @ Tulsa

Bruh, let the past go already. It will help out tremendously.

Be grateful he isn't the coach anymore

Yeah I'm trying to erase that era from memory. Sucks my college years at UM were wasted with that bum as coach, but oh well.

When has auburn bought an extra year for any of their coaches since Pat Dye?
Looking around, besides Art Briles, who would be a home run hire to replace him though?
Some old white guy *shrugs*
There's a slight concern that if SC wins 10-11 games (

) the SEC, especially Auburn and Tennessee (depending on Butch), will come calling for Tee. Won't happen, I know, but a guy can dream/fear.

Tee :smokin

But yeah, 10-11 won't be happening unless Max just comes out and flat out studs out.

I think we're going to lose Tee to the SEC no matter what happens. Its inevitable.

Well I was also wondering if that was even a possibility but edited my post so as not to make race a topic, the way people have been debating and fighting in here

Race is definitely an issue but . Schools don't even hire good young white coaches.

All the retreadshires are ******* exhausting.
