I spoke to Chip Kelly today who had some interesting thoughts on his future & the timing of college & NFL jobs:

Sources have told FOX Sports there are a couple of schools contemplating making coaching changes this month if they could land Kelly.

"I won't be up here freezing my *** off, so y'all enjoy the winter."  MN Gophers FB coach Tracy Claeys to our camera after being fired.

Yup. And that plus distance (plus his parents fighting over the two LA schools) has Darnay [emoji]128064[/emoji]

So Mo. City to LA is too long but to Ohio State isn't?

I meant to say that Darnay Holmes had tO$U as his leader following his trip but is dropping them due to distance and because each of his parents is all in on one of USC/UCLA and fighting over which.

But yeah Sheffield's dad apparently told PAC coaches that LA/the west coast was too far. I'm sure if they'd upgraded his flight accommodations or maybe put him in touch with a dealer who could find him a deal on a vehicle that would make the trip more bearable...

Tom Luginbill and a few other ranking Adoree as "at most" the tenth best corner in the draft which would put him in the high middle rounds. Seems to think he's more valuable as a receiver/return man.

I could see it..

the 2 UF CBs and Sidney jones.. I've seen some have king moving to S depending on his speed.. then you humphrey, takerslay, conley, lewis, tre'davious, Sutton and even the other dude from UW

It's also because he's 5'10", physical, and excels in zone.  Buddha's best fit in the NFL IMO is as a S/NB like the Cardinals use Mathieu.

Joe Yearby declared today. Wouldn't be surprised if he was a late round/UDFA steal for someone.
yup.. curious to see where a lot of these guys do end up going..

especially certain guys, like yearby.. but also perine, conner, kareem hunt, Elijah hood, kamara and brian hill

hell, I want to see if more than 3 go in the 1st

I agree with Mike and Tony they need to change the order of the NY6 games and have the playoff games be last.

Pete said he was gone in November, doesn't really have anywhere to go, transferring is waste of time with two kids, and Walton has clearly surpassed him.

Definitely an UDFA imo

We needed Tom Luginbill to tell us Adoree is the 10th best corner?

Come on man.

Yes there are def 5-10 more prototypical NFL CBS than him coming out. That's based on his size and strength and the perception that he's going to struggle against Big NFL receivers. Not on performance. Adoree was 2nd on the team in tackles and is considered one of the best tackling CBs in the draft, though and the metrics on passes defensed look good for him as well.

A 3rd-4th round projection for him is surprising if only because of hype. Most had him pegged as a 1st rounder regardless of position. Luginbill's projection doesn't mean that's where he's going to go though.
