Speaking of academics, Stanford has the "top 150/300 recruit wants/capable of a top-tier degree" hook on lock right? I swear on my life if Andrew Luck had picked NU over Stanford... We were a finalist :smh:

Mack brown is probably still at UT if he landed Luck..
Speaking of weird occurrences, harbaugh wanted both Richard Sherman and Doug Baldwin kicked off the team and Shaw said no we really need these guys so they switched Richard to CB and he was TERRIBLE, Baldwin barely saw the field til 2010, now both are all pro type players.

Harbaugh is a nut, my college strength and conditioning coach was an assistant under harbaugh. Said they were in season conditioning and an offenseive lineman had to go #2. He tried to get harbaughs attention but he wouldn't flinch, finally Jim said if you leave this field we are all starting over. Offensive lineman took a squat and **** on the field and finished conditioning. [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

Only cuz Texas didn't offer him.

I could see Scumbag Lane pull a Roy Williams where he's dressed in black in the stands and a fan gives him a Clemson poo paw sticker to wear like that fan gave Roy a Jayhawks sticker to wear years ago.

Adoree showed up for Spring classes today. Take that for what it's worth, which might be nothing.

Juju as of last night, was in NYC. No clue as to Mama.

No idea if I like that lineup for the coaches film room... But will prob watch it since I dont know a ton about them

Coach Mac :smokin

I actually really like the coaches film room. Way better than listening to herbstreet talk about random junk.

Sark would have been great in it.

I'm assuming Helfrich was hired somewhere.

I have loved it the past two years... Narduzzi was awesome... So was Taggert and Fedora... Im sure it will be solid again

Helfrich will make a great Offensive coordinator. He's one of the guys that will never be a great coach but will be a great coordinator.

It's a school for geniuses man.

Had no idea Cal was THAT prestigious in terms of academics.
Esp after watching Goff on Hard Knocks.
Learn something new everyday.

Marshawn Lynch, Desean Jackson, jarred Goff
its not

Yes it is. Maybe they don't really expect anything from the football players, but Cal is an incredibly prestigious university

Okay fair enough. Still doesn't mean that they hold their players to the same standard as the rest of the students

But will pride allow them to go back to being a coordinator?

When you've been in charge I think it would be hard to have to answer to someone else again.

Helfrich will go back. He's a great guy and just loves the sport and the Xs and Os. Maybe he'll take a head coach spot at a small school. But he's definitely not the type to have the ego to go back to coordinator. As an Oregon fan as much as he sucked this year it was tough to lose him
