Custom cleats...

Hey guys, I wanted to start a thread listing what sneakers you guys think would make a good baseball or football cleat. Custom cleats can change any sneaker Into a cleat. Off the top of my head, the 3 obvious choices are the air griffey max series, and the diamond turf series.

What other kicks do you think would make a good baseball or football cleat? Let me know.

i think if you are to make a decent performing cleat it would have to be a trainer of some sort because regular shoes arent built for that kind of wear and tear which is why cleats are typically way stiffer but on that note yeah we need some griffey max 1 cleats, Jordan XXs maybe. straps as well for good stability.

Good point. I figured there's some good basketball sneakers out there that would make good cleats. On the custom cleats website, they have a gallery, and someone did a lebron soldier 9 cleat, which has straps. Suppose to be a beast for support/stability.

I noticed the griffey max 1 cleat is leather as opposed to the durabuck/suede? on the shoe version. The leather would definitely take a better beating when it comes to sliding on dirt.
