(CNN)Today's 20-year-olds are having less sex than the previous generation. About 15% of adults between the ages of 20 and 24 reported having no sexual partners since they turned 18, according to new research published today in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior. Just 6% of the previous generation said the same at that age.

A real drought is out. Idk I guess I'm just getting old.

I refuse to take chicks out or pay for yambs... I can't eem.

I blame that Netflix and chill stigmata. **** ****** the game up BIG-TIME. It made "chillen" 10x more obvious than it already was.s mh

No wonder it's so easy for a dude with his **** together and $60 isn't a blip in his pockets. Yall making a basic date sound outrageous.

These numbers dont sound right, cuz look how much sex is being sold everywhere.

It's very easy to believe. More people are still living at home with parents/family, no pressure, more options to be selective. Past generations didnt have looks based apps like Tinder or online dating like today. People, and from the report women, are just more careful with the sex now than before.

Huh?

Young boys are soft weirdos these days this makes complete sense to me.

The social skills i see from teens and young adults are awful they have no idea how to maneuver in the real world always staring down at the floor. :smh:

“It is fantastic that young people have the opportunity to make informed personal decisions about their sexual health an well-being. This slight decline in sexual activity among young adults is accompanied by information from other studies that more young people also report their first sex being wanted sex.”

“Young people in the 1950s, when they were asked if you had a sexual partner, [might] say ‘oh oral sex, that counts’, whereas young people today might say ‘oh no that doesn’t count because I didn’t actually have sexual intercourse’,” he said.

Don't like the title of the articles either. It's saying there are more virgins, not that millennials are having less sex.

Something is not adding up here. Yams are in abundance, especially if you're in college. If you hit the gym there is more on the menu. There is no excuse, unless dudes are just different nowadays. Those were my prime years.

I don't believe these numbers man

We got every form of social media out here....you don't even have to say words anymore. Cmon man

It's TOO easy now.

I do not believe one bit people are more careful regarding sex today than years before

Interesting. I can imagine that quiote a few people (males and females) in that age group have their phones glued to their hands, and are desensitized to actual human interaction. It probably makes the actual act of smashing seem nerve-wrecking.

I had a drought one time during the summer of my freshman year when my girlfriend went home for the break and pickings were slim. I don't see how anyone can let that go on for years at a time.
