did they say he got hit by a shotgun shell? no

did they say he got hit by a round? yes

who was shooting shells and who was shooting rounds?

I'm right with yall when it comes to injustice and police brutality, but I don't see it in this case. All I see is a situation that could have ended on a peaceful note. The fact that she had a warrant for a traffic violation makes this even more ridiculous. If she did in fact have the shotgun visible, she did this to herself and her kids man. People can't hide behind their sex, and their children to get out of trouble. This time the cops had the right person, and were at the right address.

It is sad that a mother lost her life, and her kids have to grow up without her, but this was all on her. She had a warrant for missing court on a traffic violation. That seems really petty to use as her way out or to prove some kind of point when it comes to the police. I hope none of these black organizations do any protest about this because all we need is those tea party nuts to have reason to discredit the movement.

Shortys war on police authority agenda completely overcame her maternal instinct to protect her children, her children's safety meant absolutely nothing to her, it's obvious from the videos herself posted....I'm sorry you will find 0 sympathy for her, I'm heartbroken for her kids trauma, specially that little boy....yes cops could have handled it a little better, but she said it many times "ya going to have to murder me" so I'm not sure how much better it could have been handled, she was itching to become a hashtag, goal achieved.

told my lady a couple months ago..

just wait (God forbid....) until they hit a kid.

weeks later it happened.

I HATE to say it, but just wait until they do more damage to a child. :smh:

Gaines' 5-year-old son, Kodi, was in the apartment at the time and suffered a gunshot wound to his arm. Police say they have not yet determined whether he was shot by police or his mother.

When arrest warrent is to be served, has shot gun pointed at police saying she will shoot.

We know police dont do their job right. But you cannot tell me this lady's mind was on earth in yr 2016.

Police arent always right or always wrong. There are instances where the backlash is justified but im sorry. Im tired of people starting the cause for punks and thugs actin the fool. You put a gun in my line of sight or threaten, your takin a bullet first if i can help it. People at the bad end of these stories and start up activist activities have a real problem with accountability. That said i dont understand why all these cop stories, especially with unarmed end in a kill shot. Arent they trained to take a limb at least a leg to immobalize?
