Nike PG 1

That little snake looking thing IS Nash's logo
I'm cool explaining my choices, just don't roast me like Redrum

I seriously don't remember a Nash shoe. Someone show me this. I'm talking about a shoe with his sig that was sold in stores.

I'm not trying to clown your opinion. I just really disagree with it. To each his own.

Nike Zoom MVP
I wasn't into shoes at the time, so maybe somebody else could clarify any details I get wrong, but the Zoom MVP was released during Nash's back-to-back MVP run and was pretty openly inspired by Steve's game. For that reason I always thought of it as Nash's sig

I agree with this, in terms of best player i think it's AD > PG > Kyrie. that being said i hope AD gets a shoe. i know big guys shoes don't sell apparently but i think AD could break that trend.
Could be interesting as AD is a mobile forward.

KD is a mobile guard.

This is kind of what I feel Nike caters to:

Kyrie - traction

KD - lightweight, court feel

LeBron - impact protection, cushioning

I don't know where PG slots in or where AD would slot in.

Don't even know if Nike segments their market like that.. that's what I would do.  Use the athlete as a means to create a product..

lets be real here tho.

This sneaker is good. Really good. But it is nothing NEW. its basically a combination of things from the past that people liked lol.

The only innovative thing about this sneaker is the lace lock, lets be real here.

when i first saw this sneaker the first thing i thought was...."wow...thats nice" the second thing i thought was "i feel like I've seen this shoe before" even though i know i have not.

i feel like these, along with the lebron 14, are playing it safe. Perhaps nike is done with polarizing love it or hate it type models and are leaning towards more casual/athleisure type models....which is smart imo.

i think everybody likes this sneaker because honestly , whats not to like? no chances were taken.

these are basically jordan doing the foul line dunk again. It'll work.

i would give these a 6 out of 8.

Bro its 2017, everything doesnt have to be brand new never seen before. I feel like thats what i saw with the kd 8 elite that had rubber panty hose

Shoes are dope AF and remind some of us of different dope shoes in the past..nothin wrong with that

I think with KD being a shooter there was more emphasis on cushioning for him, whereas the Kobe and PG will give you maximum court feel.

Kyrie Traction
KD smooth cushion
Kobe/PG Court Feel/explosiveness
Lebron Support and max cushion

It's extremely hard to come up with a completely original design in 2017. It seems like everything has been done. Sigs nowadays have to look "original enough" and I think these are, whereas the Lebron 14 is literally a mashup of 3 or 4 different shoes.

Wow, y'all are sensitive, I said IMO. I'm 16, for the record, so I don't have as much of the nostalgia as some of you guys. I like the 90's stuff, but they had some hideous *** shoes man, stuff I wouldn't be caught dead outside the gym in. The reason I posted is to start conversations, though, so I'd prefer to just keep it all civil

Wash ya face son

@8:30 mark, Ronnie2k briefly talks about the 2k colorway being limited and details/news on release within the next few weeks.. :nerd:

It explains why you said the Kyrie Irving line was better than Penny signature line... The disrespect. :smh:

Nash STAT and O'Neil did NOT have their own sigs. Slapping a logo on a generic model doesnt make it a sig. There are dozens of players who had their logos slapped on generic models.

Nobody under the age of 40 would buy these in 2017

When I'm not wearing boots for weather or shoes for an occasion comfort is pretty important to me. Retro basketball is just too hot and heavy (except huaraches and Jordan 7). And the cushion compared to what they're making now isn't really there. On top of the loud designs which didn't all stand the test of time.

Im 32 so I was around for the penny line but we gotta remember Kyrie only has had 3 models so far and imo they have been pretty nice when was the last guy to have 3 straight sigs be nice? As for the Penny line most have been good but those 5 and 6 were bad for Penny the 2,3,4 were nice eventually Kyries line will be the best from Nike basketball after Jordan And Kobe and maybe Lebron
