OG Remastered Boxes

Sup people...

So question for those of you that love the boxes/package design as much as you love the shoes:

Did JB miss an opportunity by not releasing the remastered Hare and Bordeaux 7s in the same box as the remastered Metallic 5s and Maroon 6s? Also, if they retroed the box for the 1s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 7s and now 12s... Should they have done the same for the 8s with the remastered Aquas?

Thoughts?
 
MAYBE IM WRONG BUT I DONT THINK AQUAS, HARES, OR BORDEAUX WERE REMASTERED.. JUST RERETRO'D. I DID THINK ABOUT THIS WITH THE UPCOMING SPACE JAMS THOUGH.. THEY REALLY SHOULD DO AWAY WITH THE ANNOYING OVER DONE PACKAGE AND RELEASE THEM IN THESE:

THOUGH SOME MIGHT ARGUE THAT NOT ALL OG XI'S CAME IN THIS BOX.. PARTICULARLY THE SPACE JAMS WHICH FIRST CAME IN THE JORDAN FACE BOX AS A RETRO PLUS COLORWAY.. ALSO THAT SOME XI'S LIKE THE BLK/RED CAME IN THE SAME BOX AS THE 2016 FLU GAME XII'S
 
I wanted the 8s box especially; its different from the 5-7 box. It's not like they were just going off what they did before the remaster, the 12s had a modernized og box too. Can't always apply logic to things jb does though

I think the Hare and Bordeauxs were considered remastered with the Nike air insole and colors closer to original than the previous retros.

And I agree, they should kill the over the top XI packaging and do the black/red Nike box or they should finally retro the black/silver box

Me too I really feel like they missed the boat with not retroing the og 8-11 box

TOUCHE MY FRIEND.. I HAVE THE 07 AQUAS AND THE CDP HARES SO I NEVER GOT INTO EACH PAIR ENOUGH TO NOTICE THAT DETAIL!
 
I would love it if they went back to the original packaging. They know the type of consumer who is buying these remasters. Simple is better; don't fix what isn't broken.

Keep the new gimmicks and packaging for the "new" colorways.

Right! Give us 12 OG box with "Nike Air" branding. At least they got the color on the box right.

Give us "Nike" on the box too, put Jumpman on stuff that's not OG. Might cost them more money, but JB charging us $200 plus for kicks. Hook us up, Jordan/Nike.
 
Waiting for the Steel 10 with the toecap.

The Cement splatter box ended at the 7, might as well give us the black\grey one later on. But they're not going to give us a proper Nike Branded box anytime soon, nobody remembers these shoes as "Nikes" anymore.

Really wish they used the cement splatter box on the 2015 remastered 7s. Kind of beats the purpose of having retro boxes.

I think they might have missed n opportunity with the boxes. I do feel like it woulda been nice to have all og boxes for the remastered "og " releases to help with the price hike acceptance

Did they have the Jordan face box in 1995? I thought they started that in 1999 after the Silver box from 1998 or were you referring to the retros?

EDIT : NVM I didn't know the Space jams first released in 2000, I thought they were an original release

HAHA.. I WAS DYING TO REPLY TO YOU BUT I WAS AWAY FROM MY MACBOOK.. BUT YEAH NO FACE BOXES IN 95, WHICH IS WHY I MENTIONED THAT SOME WOULD ARGUE AGAINST IT BUT IF THEY GIVE ANY XI'S THE OG LOOK AND REMASTERED TREATMENT I'D PREFER IT BE IN THAT 95 BOX (BLK/RED'S IN THE 16 FLU GAME BOX).

Yeah I love the simple look of the OG 11 box, the box for the Space james this year is hideous

The Concord only came with the black box. Same I believe with Columbias. The black and reds came in both.
