Parents Imposing a vegan diet to children in Italy may risk Jail time.

I can understand why someone would want to eat an alternative pork product.

I've been trying almond milk. Not really a fan. I tried soy milk years ago and didn't like it. I would try rice milk too but my grocery store doesn't have it.

Soy milk and soy products make my throat itch :x

Almond milk is good in Raisin Bran Crunch though.

What's the point of cutting something out of your diet , to eat a fake version of it ?

It's like being a lesbian and using a dildo because "you don't need no man."
Or being a lesbian that's attracted to women who try to copy the mannerisms/dress like men

my gf's sister is a lesbian and her butch other half wants to have her "own" baby...meaning her own eggs but she doesn't want to get pregnant.

so she wants to put her eggs in to my gf's sister's body and have an artificial insemination...im like WTF

so you want to be a man...

but she's super feminist and hates men

but she dresses like a man and has a boy cut like justin beiber.

Beef/Pork smells and taste delicious but I'll see the grave before I touch it again. Word is bond son we gotta start thinkin about what we put in our bodies kid.

A vegan/plant based thread would be awesome! I remember my girl put me onto jack fruit a couple years ago. My mind was blown when I actually had it in a carnitas style earlier this year.

My GF has been a vegan now for 3 years, she went to a Plant Based Nutrition course and now cooks all meals at home. I have to say that I really enjoy her cooking and like the idea of not eating animals. Every now and then I'll have a burger or steak when we out at restaurants, but I feel much better without the consumption of animal products. The healthy Organic/Vegetarian movement is growing, more and more people are demanding for it.

I understand there are the loud, in your face, elistist thinking vegans, that think they're better than everyone else but most of them are really down to earth not all "hippies" as society would label them.

Someone asked why would you eat a fake version of something, some people do it for health reasons. Moc Meats tend to have 1/3 of the calories of a regular piece of meat and more nutrients.

I suggest everyone to have an open mind, and do some more research. 2 great documentaries to watch are 'Pure Plant Nation" and " Forks over Knives", if you have Netflix.

I'm very fortunate for my girlfriend as well. She really enjoys cooking and has made my plant based diet so much easier. Before I gave up meat and dairy, she already experimented in preparing vegan meals. She hasn't completely converted though. She consumes animal products probably only 3-5 meals each week.

^^ Same here I haven't converted but I don't each nearly as much as I did. Especially since the World Health Organization article came out that linked meats to causing cancer.
