I saw this meme earlier and thought it could speak some light hearted discussion among the NT cats that have taken that leap. Not here to judge anyone, just curious as to how common of a thing this may be. One of my homies cried when he popped the question and  when he saw her walking down da aisle. Good dude. I'm not engaged or married yet so I can't chime in. Did it happen to you?

I shed a tear when I proposed, when I saw her walking towards me I did not tho, I did have the biggest smile on my face tho, I remember my cheeks started to hurt :lol:
 
What's so emotional about that moment? Serious question.

Assuming that the man and woman have been together for a significant time, what makes this one moment when she's walking towards him cry worthy ?

Another question I'm curious about is who actually gets down on one knee anymore. I'm romantic/thoughtful and all that, but that one knee mess seems so corny to me; almost like laying my jacket over a mud puddle.

If I ever get married I'll probably get a little watery eyed.
 
I was hammered when I proposed. Heart was beating like crazy. No tears tho. Im sure theyll flow when She comes down the aisle.

Didn't cry during either, but my homeboy did when his wife walked down the aisle.... Made me think do I really love my wife that much

Glad im not alone for those who cant cry.

My grandpa died back in 2001, i was like 12 years old. He passes away and mind u hes closer to me then my father is so i wa supset but never shed a tear.

My daughter was born, nothing.

Sure i was happy, sad i can feel emotions but to cry is like i REALLY have to be affected

I'm the same way , can't remember the last time I cried n I been thru alotta **** ...had to be when I was a lil boy probly
 
I almost did, but i didn't. My wife got mad at me because i had tears coming down my eyes when the Seahawks beat the Packers in the NFC conference game.

That game was crazy :wow:

Didn't cry either time but let one of them in the arms of the angel aspca type commercials on and I'm a mess. Damn near soffocated my dog with hugs a few times after those.

The same.

Only times I shed tears is when its really cold or something is really funny.
