Just like the title reads: the restock app is compromised

Check your statements, change your info, get a new card if you ever used it on the app.

The dude is in Georgia through an apartment number.

Hi, Luke here (founder of Restocks). A user directed me to this thread.

Let me be clear on how the autofill feature works. Your data is saved on your device and is plugged into the secure checkout pages on Shopify websites. It is never sent to our servers, ever. When you log out of the app, all of your credit card data is deleted from your phone. We don't have any credit card data that hackers could steal.

I would love more details because I take these security issues seriously. It's possible that there was a major credit card theft (think like Target a couple years ago, or perhaps a bank like Chase) that's happened to affect many users. But until we have more details, we're going to keep the autofill feature in the app as is.
