Do you own a pair of remastered 1's yet? If you don't the quality is great and worth re buying if you have the '13 release.

I'm automatically by default copping these just on the sheer strength without question. That's a promise. With that said, I absolutely love my '13 Royals. They're STILL my favorite 1s that I own (next to Chis and Shadows) and are one of the Holy Grails in my collecto. Great leather (to me) and far better execution than other '13's IMO. Currently I put them up against any of my remastered 1s even, regardless of shape/mold etc etc. Some might not agree and that's fine.
I'm sure what I'm about to say will happen eventually but I'm just waiting for some dude (especially one that doesn't own or couldn't copp in 2013) to be like "yeah remastereds are dropping. better unload those '13s"
. Kinda like dudes are doing the '13 Breds (which is also kind of a reach IMO) as if they're now all the sudden trash. Haha, please. Wish I would lol. The hype and struggle to obtain 1s in 2013 was way too real.
I'll just have two different versions of equally Ioved Royals once I get these

I don't. I have the 13 retro and I'm pretty happy about them. I've heard nothing but great things about the shattered back board quality and wouldn't second guess that they are great. I just don't want to go through all the stress of grabbing these if I have a pair I'm happy with already you know??? 1s look great either ds or really worn lol. I'll rock the pair I have till they can't be worn anymore. I'll try and grab the royals but won't lose sleep if I don't.

True true, all of the new 1's are made with soft leather and are super comfortable. If you don't get the Royals or the Black/Red 1's , I recommend at least picking up one of the new remastered 1's down the line, you won't be disappointed.

THIS RIGHT HERE! LOL.. IF BANNED 1'S WERENT DROPPING THE 13'S WOULD STILL BE AS SUPERIOR AS ANYONE EVER BELIEVED. You've been on NT since 2001 so it's a safe assumption that you have a lot of sneakers. Why do you need to have 4 pairs of the same shoe? Are these the only shoes you have in your rotation? Are you a hoarder, reseller or someone just stocking multiples for trade bait? Or have you beat both of your 2013 pair to the ground in the past 3 years?

I have quite a few pairs of B/Reds from different years. That's not gonna stop me from trying to grab 2 or 3 of the 2016s.
Part of it is for collecting purposes and some is for just wanting to have a lot of my favorite shoes

i've been a hoarder since i started collecting shoes.. get too sentimental and get sentimental attachments to my shoes lol. i say its for collecting purposes but i think i just need to have it. i can't even get myself to sell/trade my shoes. smh. i know i have a problem.

Thanks for replying on his behalf brother, but I'm just puzzled as too why someone needs so many multiples especially if they're in the same age group as myself (based on join date).
Hell, I'm getting to my mid-30s and I can barely wear my single pairs (I've never owned multiples) and I've been steadily downsizing my 'collection' over the past few years. These days it's addition through subtraction for me, so 3 pairs go out for every pair brought in.
That said, I wouldn't mind owning just ONE pair of these but jumping through hoops and paying resell prices because cats need to have 4-5 pairs kinda puts a damper on the whole thing.
