Not sure if this was already mentioned since this thread is moving crazy fast.  From what I see on my pairs - production dates of 10/16-12/16 had coiled laces.  Production dates of 11/16-1/17 had the "normal" laces.

I have no desire for these shoes, haven't tried to get them, and yet, I find this thread so entertaining :lol:
 
Placed an order for an 8.5 right now. Keep trying y'all, had to dial about 200+ times to get through.

Both of my pairs are having 10/16-12/16 dates, so not the case.
