The stores that are using it obviously have the smarter managers. At least the ones trying to stop the backdooring.

GSP has always had minimal backdooring and they are of course doing the app. Willowbrook, which I have said many times is a cesspool, is doing FCFS. So there may be something to your point.

Edit: And GSP gets the same allocation, and sometimes more, as Willowbrook.

Let launch locator help you

Would be odd if all those got the banned but none got the royals

So far, only HoH in town (ABQ) is getting them. That's it. And they are doing FCFS. That place feels shady. Every time I go there, it feels like every pair is already accounted for. I had luck with the banned on SNKRS, maybe luck will strick again.

Willowbrook FTL backdoors but I like that district manager comes for the holiday releases to oversee things. Wish he was there for more cause I've seen the shadiness myself there for the banned 1s and reverse SBB

Actually don't most footlockers list as fcfs and change to raffle during the week?? I remember that happening

They do but who knows this time around

I remember for black toes or another release they had FCFS and then a few NTers told me the spots which had it online that was were actually raffle

I just personally checked the FTL launch locator myself. Only Baybrook, Houston Galleria, and Sugar Land are doin the app reserves, the rest of the H-Town FTLs are FCFS.

FFS, this gonna be as bad as the Concord Lows release with these FCFS lines evrywhere

It's a few more App stores on there you left out but still you're right. The fcfs lines are gonna be dumb. I'm avoiding at all cost.

Not surprised a lot of stores doing FCFS for this release. We should start to see more of this and a shift back to how it was back in the day.

where are you guys from that are doing FCFS? im from LA and so far i none of the stores in my mall are doing FCFS

its either in person raffles or app raffles

we're all tahmbah the FTL launch locater. right now, every single store has their launch procedure listed as FCFS. while pretty confusing, some of us are expecting it to change to app reserve in the upcoming days.

so if you've never spent a penny at any footlocker, then you're sol regarding the app reserve, right?

especially in the bay area?

Why start these apps just to throw em away? My area might never get the damn apps

 but that's just strange
What I'm hearing from several managers is that it takes more resources to maintain the apps. In other words, with the apps, winners can come to the store at various times throughout the day and someone has to monitor and check off the list, input codes, cross off winners, and someone else has to grab the shoes from the back. Each store has to dedicate a couple of employees throughout the day to do this, not to mention the entire week leading up to release date having to do the in-store headstart as well as beacons not working and employees having to manually input the code on people's phones. It's just a lot more work for the stores.

With FCFS, each store unloads their stock within an hour and the only thing they have to worry about is making sure enough security is on deck to manage any kind of potentially misbehaving clowns.

Probably for Jordan's

Hyped up stuff won't be FCFS
This is true. Shoes that have really limited quantity will most likely continue to be done via app because it won't take a lot of resources to manage the procedure since stock is going to be low.
