Jordan Retro 1 OG Royal returns April 1 2017

The more I think about the app in its current state the dumber it is.

So some folks have to spend $300 to reach platinum to get a 10 minute head start for a chance at $160 shoes. That's $460 on some 1s. Some people would be better off doing a pre-order.

If they really want to give everyone a fair chance, then give EVERYONE a fair chance.

This logic is what gets dumb the more I think of it.

You're paying $300 for merchandise, not for the shoes you're trying to win, so the shoes come out to $160 still. And once you hit the $300 then your good to go for the future releases. So factoring it in for one purchase makes absolutely no sense.
$460 for royals? Be real man. Act like you're getting $300 worth of merchandise with it.

I think the apps are more than fair. They help people win who constantly buy stuff. Why wouldn't they reward return customers, instead of people who want to get platinum now for one shoe?

Need some advice. I have a pair of Breds that I bought in 2013, size 13. I wasn't too much a fan of the 1s, I planned on selling them when I bought them. Wore them once after a few months and thought they looked really nice on my foot. Now I'm thinking about bringing them to flight club to sell them because I haven't been wearing them. Am I making a mistake?

Not as dumb as it sounds when you've already been buying stuff from these stores for years. That $300 mark can easily be hit through out the year. Especially if you're conscious of it.

But as another peroson already said, we can get that same merchandise at FTL under retail from other retailers, with promo codes, free shipping, ebates etc. No need to do buisness with FTL when you can get those same products elsewhere cheaper 75 percent of the time. It's just that when releases like these come around we are at a disadvantage because we don't blindly throw our money at FTL.

Just so you guys know...the Royals will be a massive GR. The people who pay over retail in preorders will be sick come release date when they see these sitting. Screen shot this post, I'll take the reps on 4/1

I'm standing by this still....4/1 is reppin time

I bet most of you wouldn't even want these Royal if they made 200k pairs and there was only 20 pages on the thread. Guaranteed.

i'd be hype af if they made 1 million pairs, but i'm not really a "sneaker head" just a guy who loves 1s. i regularly wear converse 70s and vans, making quality 1s as easy to cop as retro forces would be a blessing

It's quid pro quo. If you want your "fair shot" stick to the online release. All the foot stores did was add a formal structure to the "leg work" that most dudes have been doing for years. That hasn't changed. You're turning this into some moral thing when in actuality you're asking footlocker to bless you with a hard to get release even though you've got no loyalty or money invested in them and actively choose to shop elsewhere. This is nothing more than a rewards program like every other store does. The more you shop the more you get. The only difference is instead of rewards points you get access.

you should be able to use the same verification number they sent to sign in on your nephews phone when you sign into your phone... I've switched phones the day of pick up doing that.
We can't even put in the verification number because it doesn't go past the 1st verification phase where you put in your phone number.

It's only 460 if you only want that one pair of 1s in the next yr. In that case then obviously pay resell

Looks like it's already been covered

Or just don't bank on foot stores

That too. But we don't have apps anyway, so it's either deal with apps or deal with rigged raffles if I leave the crib

After a $1200 vet bill on my dog I am officially out. Guess I'll pay resale somewhere down the line. Hope everyone gets their pair.

pets>shoes all day...... I'd give up my collection for my dog in a hearbeat

Oh and shawtymo shawtymo , I hardly call stores getting less than 15 pair and only app reservations a GR no matter how you slice it.

Appreciate it! Found three Mast cell tumors on her and need to get them removed, so this needs to be taken care of. I'll get my pair sooner or later.

I wish you the best of luck. Nothing like a great dog. Yeah, you can always get your pair later for sure. [emoji]128077[/emoji]

didnt a few people post that their footactions are getting 100+ pairs?

I mean 100 pairs is not a lot. I know of a store with 100 pairs, but when you look at the quantity per size it's really small. Yeah a store may have 100 pairs total but only 6 in your size, that's not a lot.

For those who plan on putting away for years make sure you wip that glitter off that has been growing on most black painted jordan 1s...i recently seen some friends pairs who didn't know and at first it wipes off and comes back but if you let it sit there for a while it will start to create this white patchy mold that will not come off

Not sure it's mold. Mold is not glittery.

Had this happen on a pair of DS suede or nubuck Janoskis I had. The glitter dust appears to be a byproduct of the glue or possibly the dye. And yes they were black.

Clearly, not mold because these were kept with all my other kicks and only that pair had the glitter.
And yes it whipped off with a suede brush but came back about 6 months later.

Never had it happen on a Jordan 1 but I will look out for it. Since you say it was only on the black painted Jordan 1's I suspect it's something in the paint, a pigment perhaps. Sorry but bio-chemistry was not my strong suit.
