And if Pogba puts it all together the comparison has substance. Physically imposing with an all around game.

On the real though surprised tomdiginson tomdiginson isn't letting the card fly out Gambit style like he did on Colombia

Man Pogba overrated AF

Can't believe y'all really comparing him to one of the GOATs of basketball

You dudes are letting the talent level part take precedent over the other parts of the comparison. And agreeing with it isn't the same of at least getting where he was coming from

I got what Chiellini said, but the other mans clearly shouted out Lukaku then fell back on being Belgian as an excuse ole "I can't be racist cause I'm American" *** boy. And sure enough, some clowns bought into it and repped him.

I only caught the last 2 goals of the Everton-Man City match.

I was checking out the stats to see how my fellow Belgians did and noted that Lukaku added another goal to his pretty impressive total this season.

I then posted "Lukaku adding another goal
smokin.gif
" or something to that effect roughly around the same time A. Lookman scored the final goal in the 94th minute. @TomDiginson  assumed that I confused Lookman for Lukaku and called me out for "thinking that all black people look alike".

Needless to say I know what our players look like, especially a well known player for our national team like Lukaku. But it is what it is, clearly I'm not able to convince Diginson otherwise.

Pogba just as good as lebron when he was 23.. see nothing wrong with the comparison
Of course you don't you're a United supporter

At 24 Lebron was already 2x MVP and the best player in basketball

Wash your face

Pogba hasn't even won serie a footballer of the year

Lookman scored for Everton and mans shouted out "Oh another one by Lukaku". I quoted him and let him know it was Lookman and that all black people don't look alike. Mans tried to peddle his way out, but I ain't falling for that foolishness.

Isn't Columbia mixed? Thought dude was only shouting out his countryman tbf

...And some more business to come in the summer
TSG Hoffenheim EN ‏@achtzehn99_en Jan 15
Niklas #Süle and Sebastian #Rudy will leave #tsg this summer for @Bundesliga_EN giants @FCBayernEN. Good luck boys... #tsg1899

Hoffenheim is just the latest victim. The wealthy village club has arguably been the best team in Europe that nobody is talking about. After Real Madrid’s loss to Sevilla on Sunday, only one club in Europe’s big five leagues remains undefeated in all competitions this season: Hoffenheim. Somehow, that hasn’t helped them make a serious title push – they’re only in 5th place thanks to an obscene 10 draws from 16 games – but the 0 in the loss column counts for something. This is a club on the rise under bright young coach Julian Nagelsmann.

Too bad Bayern noticed. Just as Hoffenheim begin their ascent, they’re set to lose their best two players.

Süle is in the conversation of best young center backs in the world and a newly minted Germany international. Standing 6’5″, Süle is a beast, but he’s also quick, has good instincts, and is comfortable on the ball. The 21-year-old looks to be a terrific long-term investment for Bayern, and now he gets to develop alongside Mats Hummels and Jerome Boateng for the next five years. And the price Bayern reportedly had to pay for him — €25 million — could prove to be highway robbery compared to Manchester City’s €55 million deal for John Stones last summer.

The 26-year-old Rudy is Hoffenheim’s defensive midfield anchor, though he’s played right back and right midfield for the German national team. With Philipp Lahm likely retiring when his contract runs out in 2018 and Xabi Alonso also nearing the end, adding Rudy makes perfect sense for Bayern, especially on a free transfer. He doesn’t figure to really break into the Bavarians’ star-studded first team — not with the likes of Joshua Kimmich, Renato Sanches, Arturo Vidal and Javi Martinez still around — but Rudy is in the prime of his career and at worst should be a dependable and versatile back-up.

really was surprised to see him make way at HT for rooney but made sense.. both teams kept bypassing MF so was pointless to have a 3rd body in middle when we were chasing a goal. I would have personally replaced mata with pogba (but that obviously was NEVER gonna happen). Mourinho adapted well to liverpool.. removed a body from MF when it was pointless, then brought in another MF when pool started to exploit the space.. I will say i need pogba to work on his shooting, he's had a clear chance in just about every game.. should have more goals then he does.. I'm sure it will come with time.

Hadnt even realized Barca was in 3rd :nerd:

Yeah Jose had no choice, Carrick against an athletic, pressing midfield is never going to end well. Same goes for Mata in a 10 role. So it was either Fellaini starting or Carrick.

I think Jose is going to sign a destroyer in the summer to play alongside Pogba but I would prefer someone in the Carrick mold. Maybe a cheeky bid for Wiegl. Wouldn't mind Iturraspe either.

Well damn *wee.bey gif*, my mistake

In other news...

Breaking | West Ham United have agreed in principle to sell Dimitri Payet to Marseille after a meeting today, according to L'Équipe.

Marseille will make a new formal offer in the coming hours for Dimitri Payet to West Ham United, according to L'Équipe. More follows.

OM is in 6th place...says a lot about the Hammers that he'd wanna leave in the middle of the season for them
