I'm elated we've given ourselves a decent chance in the second leg now with that two goal cushion. I'll be honest I thought the tie was over after that Falcao chip
Man we did it tho fam. I was absolutely fuming when Falcao was stepping up to take that pen.

Such a roller coaster of emotions. Glad we dug in and kept playing our game. Our defense was never gonna bail us out.

For us to secure the round we gotta go to Monaco firing on all cylinders like today. We get 1, hopefully 2 goals and its a over.

Definitely going to try to catch the rest of monaco's matches this season. Those lads were fearless. too bad they lost gas at the end. 2nd leg gon be good.

The Arsenal players all left their shirts behind. The Sutton players are going to hand them out in dressing room at next match

@AmyLewisSport Due to it's length, Mertesacker's will be used to carpet the hallway.

wonder how they will sort it out for the Alexis shirt

Word I felt the same after that chip, I was heated/devastated

I think we have more than a "decent" chance to go through, but wow Monaco are mighty impressive attacking wise. Mbappe gained a new fan today, dude is class.

The 2nd leg will be more of a dog fight imo, I don't think and neither should we expect it to be as unbelievable as this one. Bummer Sterling wont be apart of it, my MOTM slightly ahead of Kun today.

Man City still serious about building a new stadium? Who they going to fill those seats with? Opposing fans?

Allegri is leaving first before Bonucci does. Keep dreaming for a world class defender though. We know that there aren't many around.

Bro I was like damn we're really about to go out like this in the first leg on our own pitch.

I have a group text with my footy buddies and my range of emotions were all over the place for 90 minutes. HEATED one minute, celebrating the next, heated, celebrating and so on and so on

My group chat was lit too. I added in all my Man U buddies who are probably at work or school just annoy the F out of them. Im expecting to get the same treatment for their NIT, Pro Bowl, Europa league match tmrw

this....i got no real friends anyways haha

That City-Monaco match was highly entertaining, one of the best so far. Agüero was out there hustling, I remember he gave away the ball on a misplaced pass and sprinted like 25 yards to get it back. :wow: #workrate

City doing the lords work hopefully this starts a downward spiral :pimp:

Take it easy on them though. I don't need Monaco blood thirsty this weekend. I need them beat down just enough to throw off th tech morale so PSG can pick these trash points we deopped last weekend

GG City

Best way to make footy fans is just wear kits and then the dudes come flocking in asking you questions. At least for me anyways. Only a few chicks come up tho.

This.

I kinda lucked out in terms of friends I grew up with who liked footy (of course none of us are full American  ) and have been passionate about their squads. Pretty rare in the States from what I've seen unless you grew up and played on teams or in leagues with them.

Also, there are a few Club oriented bars/pubs for matchdays around where I live so although none of them are City ones I still have met a fair amount of people/supporters of that bar or pubs Club that just enjoy talking and watching footy with whoever since it's although its growing here, it's just not there yet so we are all in good spirits....usually

Monaco has been so fun to watch this season. Really good game, whole match was lit. Their defensive weaknesses were shown.

Anyone watching the US vs Haiti u-20 match. I don't know anything about the Haitian youth development system but I wonder if they have or would they ever utilize their relationships with countries like France, Brazil or any of the African countries to develop a better system.

There's an official ManU supporters bar in SF I can't remember the names but there's a bar called McTeague's on Polk street in SF that has all the flags, banners, of the EPL and other well known teams (last one I saw added was HEGGSY lol). Open for for every game although match times are brutal. its always popping on the weekends if you're just a casual barhopper or whatever but if youre a footy fan its great to just look at their ceiling to see the collection of swag.

Sometimes I feel bad when I talk to clients who ask me about footy and I overwhelm them

. just two days ago dude asks who I like, Chelsea, he says ManU, then he kinda shoots out "man I can't believe they lost to tot'num" then I immediately break out using visual cues with my hands going "well they studied them well enough, with almost a three back themselves, and Danny Rose and Walker being able to out pace moses..." then I see his face start drooping down then I see this is too much for him and close it out real fast

Another time dude says his team is Madrid, this was the day of the Copa del Rey game with Bale come back goal recently, dude said Benz is alright/needs to leave and I throw down "him being flase 9 works so well with Ronnie and Bale on the sides for speed plus his attitude isn't really glory hunting, he's happy where he is." dude just went "yep...."

I'm good blud, I don't need mad dudes coming up to me, that's some batty boy schift.

Matthäus on Götze: "He has to go to China. For Schalke, he can't go, he does not fit Leverkusen, Gladbach cannot afford him & top clubs abroad no longer have him on their list."

What do you guys think?

He needs to get back to form, that and his wages are pretty high. I think some club abroad would give him a shot before he goes to China.
