We can play the if game all day but as a Bayern fan 2-1 is not that bad.
Missing lewi was a huge blow muller didn't seem ready. I didn't understand the subs when it was 1-1. With 10 man in the game I thought they should of went defensive and just hold on to the tie but for some reason they went offensive and they almost got blown up.

Ancelotti should've learned from Pep's mistakes. Play for the best possible result and when they were down to ten men, play for the draw. When Barcelona was up against Bayern during the 14/15 season, they conceded and should've just parked the bus but instead went to play for a goal and ended up losing 3-0.

I don't even like Real but glad they got the W over Bayern, don't see the hype in them.

Vidal missing that pen showed they just weren't ready for that prime time.

I'd take Monaco or Atletico for next round, please.

I've always semi not trusted "foul on me, PK for me" your judgement after getting tackled is skewed

Even if Vidal converted that PK the tie wasn't over. It was an undoubtable turning point in the match, but a hypothetical 2-1 L or 2-2 draw wouldn't have meant it was over.

This is a fantastic result for RM though. I never worried watching the match. I've learned from watching this team enough that they can play like crap and still get a result because all it takes is a cross, corner, or a set piece against the run of play, and they'll get an inevitable spell of good play at some point too. They also have a knack of getting clutch goals.

I also don't care that Lewa was out. I could play that game too and say that if we didn't have a third string CB in, and world class Pepe or Varane were in, Vidal wouldn't have been left unmarked for his goal. So there i'll give you a Lewa goal, and I'll take away the one conceded by Nacho if you want to play that game.

I would have gladly taken a draw at the Allianz. I'd be shocked if RM choke this away. They've scored in 50+ consecutive matches, so Bayern will likely need to score at least 3 goals to win. RM looking to play their A game at the Bernabeu and Bayern needing to take attacking initiative away from home should make for an entertaining high quality match.

It was a tale of two halves. I agree it shouldn't have been a penalty but if it was 2-0 going into the second half it would have been a different game plan.
After the miss your are right all momentum went to RM.
comparing Lewa to Pepe and/ or verane is not even close.
Compare it to to not having Ronaldo.... but usually RM plays better without him.......
