Great news about the ban only applying to January. Basically means there is no ban. Would have sucked badly to not make any marquee moves last summer or the upcoming one, especially with James seemingly on his way out at some point in 2017. Maybe the front office felt they wouldn't uphold the whole thing.

I'm on a high as an RM fan since the CL win :lol: I really hope they have meaningful silverware to show for the season they're having at the end of it all.

but you have to compare your roster to the other clubs and with yall's current roster if you added another defender yall still aren't winning the league.

what club has won a major trophy without opening up the pocket books.

yall's best playera are alexis and kolscielny...after that there is a big gap in class in your roster. 

yall are good enough for top 4 but lets be real...yall are a long shot to win the league and yall damn sure aren't winning in europe.

I think the "realistic" and sensible thing is to first just plug in obvious holes for them. And once you have a full unit out there you can evaluate who doesn't fit and isn't on the level and needs to be upgraded properly.

Whether it's in the winter or summer I think dude is out. I just hope he picks the right fit because it's not as easy for a dude who embraces Latin culture to be as happy elsewhere.

I think this is where Mourinho's sour relationship with players at times can hurt him and Conte being a player's coach helps him and the club. Add to that, the money from the Oscar transfer and leading the EPL with room for more talent. Also London > Manchester. I think the Blues will be the front runner.

the cap and pro/reg is what's holding MLS back IMO. A couple of big international signings would easily generate lots of interest in the league
 
James should be able to thrive in in that free role up front for Chelsea. Their system is missing someone that make a cross from the right side of the pitch. Victor Moses could benefit from this as well he does a lot of dirty work. They should also look at a possible backup to Alonso, he should've been bought earlier in the summer i say that because he has talent no doubt but i don't know if he is fit enough to play 38 this season.
 
James is gonna flourish in the Premier League and if he goes to Chelsea :x, they running away with the chip.

- I would love James rockin' that red but I don't see how he's gonna fit in personally
- Chelsea makes more sense especially now that Oscar is gone. He can play mid or the wing. The possible front 3 of Costa, Hazard and James, :x

Hopefully at some point in the future (near, distant? whenever) some big money comes into the MLS and caps can get on NBA/NFL level. At least if we want to see some big names cross over.

China is throwing money at cats. Maybe one day we can get there. An Oscar caliber player would be amazing to come over to MLS if we could afford young internationals

Man if James goes to Chelsea its a wrap :x
